According to Ambrose Bierce, "History, n. an account mostly false, of events mostly unimportant, which are brought about by rulers, mostly knaves, and soldiers, mostly fools." His-story is rational justification for the exploration of humble people and his obsession with power for self-centered gratification.

Hidden Colors tells a different side of the same story and inflates the self-worth of a humble people with truth. Hidden Colors is for people with a mind-set like Toni Morrison who said, "I'm interested in the way in which the past affects the present and I think that if we understand a good deal more about history, we automatically understand a great more about contemporary life."
