Gov of Virginia honors the Confederacy

I wish I could attend. Living in the Deep South in Montgomery, AL for almost two years has been horrible. At first, I was a novelty at my AA meeting. Now, I am going to a different meeting that is predominantly Black. I have made too many enemies at the mostly-White Happy Hour AA meeting with my Facebook as I say it as it is. I refuse to censor myself because of what others will think. I got dinged in a nasty way when I brought up racism last year regarding the President. I need recovery as I do not want to go back to the streets yet I need to be in a safe environment where I do not have to wonder if a Klan person is there. I do fear I will eventually be killed at that meeting and am taking my intuition to bow out of Happy Hour AA. We got intuition to keep us alive.
