Gardening Class - Saturday 10 July 2010 and Saturday 14 August 2010 Sign-up for the natural/organic gardening class is progressing well. Two people are traveling all the way from North Carolina to attend. We still have some slots available if you want to attend. In case you cannot attend the July session, we have scheduled another class in August. The next session is: Saturday 10 July 2010 9 am to 1 p.m. 3353 Washington Road, East Point 30344 $50 per participant An additional session will take place: Saturday 14 August 2010 The class will provide participants with an overview of natural and organic urban agricultural methods. This beginner's course will prepare you for fall planting. The class will cover: Soil Preparation Soil Management Composting Vermiculture Crop Management · Seasonality · Planting · Multi-cropping and Plant Diversity · Companion Planting · Weed, Insect, Disease Control This will be a hands-on learning experience conducted at our East Point site. You will leave with new knowledge, a packet of information and some fall seeds. The cost of the natural and organic urban gardening class is $50 per person. Class size is limited so sign up soon.
