In honor of the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s untimely departure, the National Civil
Rights Museum has launched a year-long commemoration to celebrate Dr. King's legacy from April 4, 2017 to April 4, 2018.

BEE Apparel Manufacturing Company is a proud supporter of this effort and
invites you to "BEE In The Number" on April 4, 2018, as eyes turn to the many who will converge on the
National Civil Rights Museum (at the Lorraine Motel) in Memphis, Tennessee, to celebrate Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr. and his accomplishments.

In preparation for this 50th commemoration, Calvin Jarrett, owner and founder of BEE (an acronym for
Building Economic Empowerment) will speak in Harlem, New York, about one of Dr. King’s major
concerns: economic equity. Mr. Jarrett will discuss creating jobs and building economic empowerment
as part of the conversation Dr. King left for us in his last book, Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or
Community?

It’s now 50 years later: Where are we? Where should we be? How do we get there?

Join the conversation. Be a part of the solution for building economic empowerment. #MLK50 MLK50MistHarlem.pdf
