The Streets My Cradle Book Signing  and Discussion

“DADDY I NEED YOU” That is the cry of the daughter the day he left home. It is the cry of the daughter whose fathers attention is pre-occupied with the wife or maybe that other woman, the son,  the bills and the worries from life.

“DADDY I NEED YOU” is the cry of those little girls from all over this nation that don't understand what appropriate touching is, that little girl that's confused about relationships with boys. “DADDY I NEED YOU” is the  cry of that little girl who suffers from a mental illness, mislead  by another personality, horrified by the many voices in her head, confused about the changes with her body, her unexplained personality change that started to develop the day he left home, or was thrown out.

DADDY! DADDY I NEED YOU! Is the cry of that daughter who has run away from home and fallen victim to a vicious pimp or abuser. It is the cry of that daughter standing on a street corner. That daughter whose been drugged and forced to engage in sexual acts for money. Some acts so horrific, so horrific that they end up leaving scars, scars on their body and mind that last a life time.

“DADDY I NEED YOU” might have been the last words spoken, the last thoughts thought of that little girl' found in a dumpster....
