UEDC will also host its annual Health Fair and Flea Market on Saturday, June 25, 2016, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at 2231 N. Broad Street. Tickets are $20 and include a Garden Party Luncheon and a 1:00 pm Guided Tour of the Uptown Theater.  Vendor opportunities are available. The Flea Market and Health Fair are open to the general public.The historic Uptown Theater, located at 2240 N. Broad Street in North Philadelphia, is where music icons such as The Supremes, The Jackson 5, James Brown, Martha and the Vandellas, Stevie Wonder and many others performed.  Built in 1929, the Uptown Theater became part of the national “chitlin’ circuit” in the 1960's providing a venue for African American R&B, jazz, rock, and gospel artists to perform.
