Annapurna Base Camp trek bundle offers a fantastic prologue to Nepal and the Himalayas. Following a day spent investigating the capital, fly west to Pokhara and make the most of its calmer air along Lake Phewa.
The Annapurna Base Camp trek starts at Nayapul: a 1½hr drive north of the city. The trail steadily rises the frosty Modi Khola Valley, conveying melt water from the ring of crests above. Woodlands of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo line the course. Agreeable towns on terraced slants high over the stream will welcome you.
The peak is come to in the fantastic Annapurna Sanctuary amphitheater where the Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail) Base Camp, is trailed by ABC (4,130m/13,550ft). Here you are encompassed by an enormous mass of shake and ice achieving statures of 4,000m/13,100ft over the icy mass' U-formed valley. The scene at dawn is amazing.
The descending adventure requires 3 evenings; one at a hot spring. At that point a short trek to Phedi and a half hour drive back to your inn: and an unwinding evening in Pokhara. The drive back to Kathmandu is through grand Middle Hill rural and ranger service arrives underneath the Himalayan range toward the north.
September/December and March/June is the best time of year trekking Annapurna base camp. In the winter will be snowed and truly frosty in the base camp of Annapurna and in the late spring storm downpours are normal. This trek is particularly lovely amid spring as rhododendron blooms along the trail turn red, pink and white.
