Date - 4-8 December 2008THEMES: “Visioning a future bright and full of promise” - HIM Haile Selassie I &“Adjusting our economic present, in readiness for the future” - Marcus Mosiah GarveyGreetings in the Name of His Imperial Majesty, Haile Selassie I & Empress MenenWe the members and affiliates of the Caribbean Rastafari Organisation give thanks to the Most High for this blessed hour as the time for the 12 Summit draws near.Though the coordination and preparation for this Summit, Culture and Trade Expo require great effort, ICAR Barbados is rising to the ultimate challenge to ensure that the themes of the gathering are fulfilled.As indicated in the site, the programme is still in draft but Friday 5th December has been set aside for the CRO business day and the election of officers. All members are therefore invited to bring their membership dues up to date and prospective members are invited complete the membership forms attached. It is by committed membership resources of time, skills and finances that the CRO will be able to fulfil its Mission.Please register at http://icarbarbados.org/expo and email CRO 12th Summit expo@icarbarbados.org to confirm your participation as soon as possible.This is a defining moment for the Caribbean Rastafari Organisation and already there is interest being shown through the EWF in London and Ethiopia to supply Ethiopian goods. The Expo being planned for the Summit will be an excellent opportunity to trade so please come prepared.May the Most High JAH Rastafari guide and bless the success of coming together in December.
