Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium producers of the 12th Annual Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival from April 1 - April 30, 2011, invites your organization to participate in Brooklyn's longest continuous running jazz festival. The festival fee is $200. This cost to venues helps pay for: press conference, collateral materials, advertising (radio and print). Participants pay for programs they contract with. Administrative and other programming costs are not included in the festival fee (CBJC absorbs this expense). Promotions begin in late November. Brooklyn Tourism and Visitor's Center, an initiative of Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, is a major supporter of the Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival. The exposure Brooklyn venues get as a collective is greater than as an individual. The jazz presentation is selected and paid for by the each venue and ALL receipts go to that organization. This festival is supported by the people of Brooklyn, our legislative leaders and community businesses. The festival doesn't have a major corporate sponsor at this time. As a collective all venues share the common goal of attracting more patrons. All venues are encourage to post festival information and link to CBJC's web page and the Brooklyn Tourism and Visitors Center.
