World African Diaspora Union (WADU) --

His Excellency Baba Dudley Thompson, President of the World African Diaspora Union (WADU) is appealing to “outstanding, highly respected fellow workers of proven records and those in service to the advancement of Pan Africanism and Black empowerment” to support the African Diaspora Declaration this May 25, 2010. He and other key Diaspora leaders are urging other Diaspora leaders to conduct special meetings and rededication ceremonies across the African Diaspora and in Africa during African Liberation Day this May 25, 2010 to promote the African Diaspora Declaration (ADD) to the African Union.

This special gathering is also to ensure greater commitment to further the work for the total liberation and unification of African people. Leaders are specifically asked to highlight and discuss excerpts of historic resolutions and charters such as the UNIA led by Marcus Garvey, the Organization of African Unity (OAU), now African Union (AU) founded by leaders such as Emperor Haile Selassie and President Kwame Nkrumh and WADU established by His Excellency Baba Dudley Thompson. The African Diaspora Declaration (ADD) to the African Union is a historic unity document urging the AU to redouble its efforts to reintegrate the African Diaspora in the African Union.

Pan Africanism is both an ancient and contemporary philosophy and practice that have for centuries empowered Africa and protected Africa from total destruction after waves of foreign invaders over many centuries. The modern Pan Africanist philosophy is rooted in African people’s attempts to rebuild and restore after centuries of imperialism, enslavement and (neo) colonialism. The formal launching of the modern Pan African Movement in 1900 was a response to the 1885 Berlin Conference convened by European imperialist powers to enslave Africa and African people for eternity.

The first Pan African Congress was also inspired by the victory of Ethiopia over Italian imperialism in Africa in 1895. This Congress of leaders representing the African world became the decisive model that eventually led to the freedom and independence of most African countries and the advancement of Black civil rights by the 1960’s. The forging of the union of African states as the Organization of African Unity (OAU) in 1963, now the African Union is so far the single the most important achievement of African people to protect, preserve and promote African interests in a world that continues to overtly and covertly find ways to exploit Africans and Africa's resources.

WADU is fully engaged in this successful model to unify with other Pan African and African centric organizations for the rebuilding of African communities in the world.

ECONOMIC DETERMINATION – for Cultural & Political Rebirth

May 25, 2010

On this Ancestral day of the 110th anniversary celebration of the Pan African Movement, we of the African Diaspora have issued this African Diaspora Declaration to the African Union to consider for immediate action; recognizing that Africans everywhere have been severely oppressed and underdeveloped due to the legacy of Imperialism, Racism, Slavery, Colonialism and Neo-Colonialism; and that the veteran Pan African and eminent leaders of the African Diaspora have dedicated themselves for the restoration and unification of Africa under one central government based upon the principles, practices and the philosophy of Pan Africanism and Africancentricity; to established a global community based upon justice, equality, and Black Empowerment; and that the African leaders in Africa have for centuries invited the African Diaspora to return Home and recently to participate as constituent members of the African Union (AU); and that the AU is urging the African Diaspora to mobilize its resources for the reconstruction of Africa for the economic, political and cultural unity and integration of Africa; Therefore, We the undersigned African Diaspora leaders under the leadership of the “Living Legend” Ambassador Baba Dr. Dudley Thompson, at the historic WADU 2010 Summit on July 10, 2010 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, have solemnly committed ourselves with the African Union to act together for the:

Congratulations of the fact that we have come this far and may I volunteer the fact that the world indeed has a Black Sovereign in the Office of the Queendom of Wafrakan, formerly the African Diasporan Nation which dates back to 1976 in Kingston, Jamaica and since 1980 operated in the great USA. More information about the Queendom may be found in the following websites: www.kiafrakan.com; www.merkhutu.com and www.wafrakanexpression.com. You are encouraged to register and to give feedbacks.
