TRIBUTE TO THE KING OF ALL KINGS ~

~ In 1892, while Queen Elizabeth was celebrating her golden jubilee and in Africa, colonial powers were carving up the continent among themselves, on July 23, in a thatched hut in the province of Harar, Ethiopia, a Child was born of royal blood, christened Tafari Makonnen, descendant of King Solomon and Queen of Sheba.

Lij Tafari Makonnen grew up in Ethiopia, a country that thrived for 16 centuries surrounded by a sea of Islam nations, a pillar of Christianity, long before western civilization. In the 12th century King Lalibela carved out the rock churches as a tribute to the Christ and in recognition of Ethiopia being the "New Jerusalem", in what was the capital of Ethiopia for 100 years, Lalibela. 
HIM was to come there 800 years later to pray during the Italian invasion of 1936.

His Majesty was the son of Lady Yeshimabet and Ras Makonnen, the cousin and trusted General of then Emperor Menelik II. Lij Tafari was groomed for the Throne along side his cousin Lij Yasu who was eventually named heir to the throne by a ailing Menelik in a rare moment of consciousness during the latter stage of his life. However, after the deaths of Emperor Menelik II, Lij Yasu fell out of grace with the Ethiopia Orthodox Church and the State "Crown Council", which had become inseparable over the years of continued struggle with Islam. Lij Yasu had declared himself Muslin and married a daughter of a well known enemy of the church and Crown. Additionally he was reported to be roaming around the country side, getting drunk and consorting with various women, actions that was not befitting a Christian King to be. As a result the Crown Council summoned then Ras Tafari to the capital, Crowned Ras Menelik's daughter, Zawditu, Empress, swore in His Majesty as plenipotentiary to the Royal Throne, and gave Him instructions to arrest and bring in Lij Yasu. After accomplishing this mission, His Majesty had to crush a number of attempts to seize control of the Throne, most notably that of the father of Lij Yasu, Ras Mikael of Wollo Province and national hero of the "Battle of Adowa". After the untimely death of Empress Zawditu who was quite sickly, Ras Tafari, was finally declared the next Emperor of Ethiopia. On November 2, 1930, Ras Tafari was Crowned King of Kings, Lords of Lords, Conquering Lion of. The Tribe of Judah, Elect of God, Light of the World and Prince of Peace.

Ethiopia was never colonized, thanks to HIM, who after abolishing slavery in Ethiopia and granting Ethiopia it's first Constitution, enrolled Ethiopia as the first African nation to be granted membership into the League of Nations. When, in 1936, Italy attacked Ethiopia, even though the League betrayed Ethiopia, eventually the ties to the League and the diplomatic ties His Majesty had developed with England, led to military support from mostly English troops led by Colonel Wingate. On May 5th, 1941, HIM Marched back into Addis Ababa to reclaim the Throne of David and continued his mission to modernize and educate Ethiopia, while uniting Africa.

HIM was regarded as the Father of the Africa Nations. The most prominent leaders of these nations paid tribute to HIM for what he had achieved, including Kwame Nkrumah, Jomo Kenyatta, Julius Nyerere, Kenneth Kaunda and Nelson Mandela. 
He took personal interest and roles in promoting peace between African neighbors and ET Airlines played a crucial role in getting HIM to flash points, where He would utilize His diplomatic skills to achieve dramatic results. An excellent example was when, in 1965, Morroco and Algeria were on the brink of war, HIM went to the frontline on an ET Air 720B, and was able to broker peace between the two nations. This approach was what eventually brought Africa together. He spoke with and convinced leaders of different Africa nations and ultimately at the first summit of all the Africa nations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in 1963, the Organization of Africa Unity was established.

HIM was probably the first African Leader to be treated as an equal by white leaders of the most powerful nations in the world, and sadly the first to sell HIM out, in the name of appeasement . Still He took everything the 20th century could throw at HIM and rode out in shrewd triumph. He won the respect of the world and there is no one whose time in the world has spanned so much, He is practically the incarnation of the history of our time.


It has been prophesied that before 2,000 years is past, Christ shall return to sit upon the Throne of David. 2,000 years had not yet come to pass when HIM was Crowned Emperor of Ethiopia and sat upon the Throne of David.

It has also been referenced in secular history about them, that  Baruch, the Prophet Jeremiah, and others of their party, including the king's daughters who were not killed with the king's sons, travelled to a distant land where the physical throne of David was transplanted -  awaiting  the arrival of its ultimate Heir, Christ, in His Kingly Character; H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I 

Acts 2:29-30
[29] Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. [30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 
[47] ...........And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Where is the only Throne of David on the face of the earth located? ETHIOPIA. There is no other, and there is no other country on creation that makes such a claim, or can credibly make such a claim. 

It is also written in the Holy scriptures that  where ever the Ark of the Covenant is located it shall be known as the "New Jerusalem" or "Zion"
