3828857640?profile=originalDear all,
Greetings from Oxford! The above mentioned book is dedicated to our ever-living friend, late Bankie Forster Bankie who joined our ancestors on 6 August 2017, and also to late John Garang. The book was drafted first time in January 2004. Since then, Bankie kept urging me to publish it but I refrained from doing this because of the hectic development of politics and upheavals in the Sudan.
Just before he died by months, the book was finally okayed for publication by our friend and Pan African publisher Walter Bgoba in Tanzania after it was assessed and approved by our friend Prof. K.K. Prah. After his death, I loathed myself for not expediting the publishing of the book while Bankie was still among us. But I regained my senses and felt that the best I can do is to publish it and dedicate to him, may his soul rests in peace.
Some of you may be aquainted with its subject as parts of it were presented in seminars and conferences with some of them already published, such as M. Jalal Hashim (2006). "Islamization and Arabization of Africans as a Means to Political Power in the Sudan: Contradictions of Discrimination based on the Blackness of Skin and Stigma of Slavery and their Contribution to the Civil Wars". In: Bankie, B.F. & Mchombu, K. (2006). Pan-Africanism: Strengthening the Unity of Africa and its Diaspora. From the 17th All Africa Students Conference (AASC). University of Namibia (UNAM). Windhoek. Namibia 28th-29th May 2005. Windhoek: Gamsberg Macmillan Publishers. PP. 244-267; see it at:

The book tries to probe and trace the factors begind the state failure in the Sudan and the role of Islamo-Arab ideology in alienating black Africans from their true identity and hence wrecking their own country in order to prove to the Arabs proper that they too are true Arabs just like them.
Hereby, I humbly ask some of you to kindly write a line or two about the book, if you feel like doing it (if not a review). The book is scheduled to be published early next year. I do consider it as a great honour for me to have you recommending my book to the public.
Needless to say that this is top confidential and strict measures should be taken so that the manuscript which is almost camera ready version should not go public in any way. I do appreciate your committing yourselves to this.
All remain well.
