HARARE IS NOW DECEMBER 21-31, 2012
All Afrikans Everywhere to Experience “HARARE 2013”
Harare means Vigilance in the traditional Bantu language of Southern Africa (Zimbabwe). As the traditional story is told that when the whites entered Zimbabwe and inquired where they were, our ancestors wisely responded “Harare” meaning ‘we are watching you.’ Zimbabwe as we all aware, is not only the home of one of Africa’s great civilizations, but has maintained a long history of vigilance and resistance and is very much part of the Bantu (sacred people) tradition of Africa.
The practice of Harare was introduced in NYC by Minister P.D. Menelik Harris of the International African Ministries UBUNTU (IAMU) in December 31, 1999 (midnite) as a sacred Pan African entrance for victory into the 21st century. After the destruction of several African states by foreign interests in 2011, Minister Menelik has since urged all Africans everywhere to practice Harare by joining in hearts, minds and as a SOUL FORCE to promote the sacred union of African people, and to rededicate ourselves to stop the new scramble for Africa, in the 21st century.
During Harare starting on December 21, 2012, we are urging you to practice the following Three (3) African Divine Principles as a sacred experience to redeem our African selves in this world:
1. UBUNTU – To Restore and Revive in us the Divine community by practicing the best of our African experiences through daily rituals of Study of ancient African sacred scriptures and Pan African books, Fasting to African way of life (name, language, music…), prayer-libation to invoke sparks of divinity, and other Actions to reawaken Muntu (the ancestral presence in us) for purposeful service to humanity;
2. USUSU – To Rebuild and Recreate our community by committing to establish economic partnership with persons, institutions, and businesses to promote a Pan African circular flow for sustainable quality of life.
3. UZULU – To Reconnect and Recommit to each other across the African world to promote the reunion of African people, especially those in Haiti, the Congo, Mali, and Columbia, for a shared, just and loving experience as a global (Pan African) Divine Community (UBUNTU NA ZULU).
Finally, In 1996, the renowned Rev. Dr. Wyatt Tee Walker asked that I request from Archbishop Desmond Tutu a letter to promote African issues across the USA. In a letter, the great Priest responded addressing major African issues and then urged all Africans to learn “Nkosi Sikelili’ Africa”. Please use this as part of the daily December Harare rituals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcVgMde4KdY
Therefore, in December 2012 and beyond, Harare will now be focused on fulfilling what our Ancestors called our Divinity (NTU) in each of us. et’s together experience Harare 2012 - a sacred experience and journey (Sankofa) to encounter, engage and to be of en-Courage to manifest our Divinity as an Nsagyefu – a redeeming and an anointing force in the world, in the Spirit and model of our great Ancestors.
The 2012 HARARE is dedicated to our late great Pan African High Priest Reverend Dr. Ndugu T’Ofori-Atta. Since the 1990’s, Minister P. D. Menelik Harris served as a student and a Pan African minister under this late Pan African High Priest and together successfully worked on numerous Pan African issues and projects for the education, liberation and empowerment of African people. Dr. Atta became a living example of a Divine One while living in Africa (Congo) during the 1950’s and 1960’s. He has served as a priest in the African liberation movement, an instructor of African Spirituality as a member of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellows and as a faculty member at the historic ITC Seminary in Ga. For more information, please contact Min. P. D. Menelik @ amenelik@aol.com or see on face book.
