Salva Kiir Mayardit, First Lady, Madam Mary Ayen Mayardit and Governor of Warrap State, Madam Nyandeng Malek Diliec visited Akuach Village (Home Village of President Kiir) in Akuach village is where President Salva Kiir was born and where his father was buried. That was the first visit of President Kiir to his home village after the April General Elections.
