Here is why we think that this is an Excellent Development. On several occasions in Geneva, New York and even in the African Union 6th Region segments we have asked for attention of our sufferings since decades to reach a dialogue with the Dutch Government, Parliament and NGO’s about the racist aspects of the Concept and the Context of the Tradition.

Nobody would listen to us. Black African people have been denied totally.
Now that the Actions came form outside (Canada) this is our Blessed Day of this Year. Things are moving.
And more blessed because of the UN International Year of People of African Descents.
We are surely able to reach more attention if we spread the news as widely we could.
We need world wide solidarity of the Global African people.
To bring thanks to the African Community in Canada too.
Two weeks ago ten young students including artist were beaten by the police only because of a shirt they wear with the description “Zwarte Piet is Racisme”
Below you will find the evidence of the Police Brutality. No questions were raised No public debate. Nothing. It is only the African people who made noise of this brutal police acts.
In 2003 when we were involved in the Global African Congress, we were helping to put a statement together for a petition to the government.
Until today we did not receive answer. See the attachments. And the letter too to the Dutch Parliamentarian Commission of Justice whereby we asked to let us know about the debate in the Parliament. Since than we does not hear yet.
Further;
Wise also to know that there is a LEADING (white) Community amongst white people who are defending the Tradition so hardly in such a away that even (former) Parliamentarian said that as long they will live the Tradition will not abolished.
We are not against Sint Nicolaas. We are against the concept of Zwarte Piet.
Read this link. Amongst are most white people too.
People who are in office of the Anti discrimination bureau are defending the Tradition.
I would like you and all who I have sent cc this information distribute this message as widely you could.

What we have reached is consciousness that this Zwarte Piet Tradition is not correct.
It is a crime against African People.
