    The event was the latest lecture in the "Elombe Brath Global Africa Lecture Series" which is sponsored by the Brecht Forum and AfrobeatRadio.  The speakers were Milton Allimadi (editor and creator of Black Star News) and Don DeBar (former News Headline Producer at WBAI radio).  There were also special presentations by Bernard White and Cinque Brath, one of Elombe Brath's sons.  Besides an excellent group of informed attendees who made the Q&A session superb.  The whole event was moderated by Wuyi Jacobs of AfrobeatRadio who kept it all together for us!!!  Thank you to everyone who made it such a rich evening!

    The title of the event was "50 Years After Uhuru, Who Really Owns Africa?" and we learned A LOT of super important information about what is going on across Africa today that neither the mainstream media nor allegedly "alternative" media is presenting today.  We must fight back and get this kind of information, real information, out there.  I hope you will watch this video and learn from it, and come down to the next lecture in the series at the Brecht Forum.  And, if you can, let me know if you would like to help out with future events.
