The Black Agenda
How Can the Black Community Do For Self In An Integrated Society?
In light of the history of organizing around racial and social justice issues, should the Black agenda focus more on finding our own solutions independently or on building collaborations with other groups?
This discussion will explore some of the positives and negatives of organizing for Black Power and justice in an integrated society. Through an exploration of past and current examples like the recent Women's March on Washington, participants will be challenged to outline the most effective ways to empower the Black community in the Trump era.
