A leading invention submission company, InventHelp is attempting to submit the SIREN ALERT to applicable companies for their review.

gI_81858_InventHelp_logo_72dpi.pngIf you or someone you know has been taken to the hospital by ambulance, you realize that speed is of the essence. Often, however, in such situations, time is lost because of heavy traffic. Fortunately, an inventor from Bronx, N.Y., has discovered how to help drivers clear the way for emergency vehicles.

She developed SIREN ALERT to provide directional approach information on emergency vehicles to motorists and motorcycles. As such, it allows motors to readily yield right-of-way to approaching emergency vehicles.

What’s more, it keeps the driver calm and prepared to respond appropriately. In the long run, it helps save lives by reducing response time for emergency personnel and allows them to reach hospitals more quickly. It also reduces accidents between emergency vehicles and other motor vehicles or pedestrians. In addition, it is easy to use and maintenance free.

The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I’ve always found it frustrating to be driving, hear sirens and not know where they were coming from,” she said. "I realized if drivers could clear the path for the emergency vehicle faster, this would reduce critical response time.”

The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
