WHY THE BOOK OF DANIEL IS SUSPECT

WHY THE BOOK OF DANIEL IS SUSPECT

Whoso is wise, and will observe these things,

even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.

Psalm 107:43

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:

and with all thy getting get understanding.

Proverbs 4:7

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things?

prudent, and he shall know them?

for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them:

but the transgressors shall fall therein.

Hosea 14:9

Books that do not contain “Thus Saith the LORD” have their own agendas.

The Book of Daniel and the “New Testament” are case in point.

The Book of Daniel is not only thought provoking but one can’t help but wonder about its contents and how it stands up with the WORD of GOD. Personally, I couldn’t figure this book out, plus the fact that it reads like mythology or even a fairy tale. The part in Daniel about throwing men in the fire, and they are not burned to death is not the way GOD of Israel works. Perhaps the writer of this book had GOD’s “Burning Bush” in mind. It is never the CREATOR’s intention to confuse, but yet this is what the Book of Daniel does throughout. GOD of Israel’s desire is for us to be the wiser and get understanding. And for that purpose, HE gave us HIS Book of the LAW. It is not only to make us a Righteous Nation, but also to make us a wise Nation. It is this LAW that enables us to discern right from wrong and truth from fiction. Let us use this wisdom to delve deep into this Book of Daniel for any truth regarding his being a Prophet of GOD of Israel or a False Prophet. Let’s not forget that GOD’s LAW “makes wise the simple [and] enlightens the eyes”. And for sure we need this wisdom to prove this man Daniel anything but a prophet of GOD but rather a product of the wicked just as is the “New Testament” a product of Roman Powers. And do understand that the prayers in the Book of Daniel are not what makes him a Prophet. The CREATOR determines the Prophet and his works.

People who read the Book of Daniel do not peruse for their own understanding. They take it for what they’ve heard from their leaders and not for learning the facts and if what’s written connects with GOD of Israel. Is Daniel’s book really about prophecy and what GOD wants revealed to us for our wisdom and understanding? If so, I have to admit that nothing about Daniel being a Prophet and his having visions of GOD add up. And as a result, the Book of Daniel continues to confuse many, and when it doesn’t, it is because writers and Leaders will make attempts to give it validity where there is none.

THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THE ISRAELITES TO FEAR BABYLONIAN CAPTIVITY

And as far as the lion’s den and the fiery furnace are concerned, that too is riddled with deception. The GOD of Israel had given the Israelites enough information that would make them feel easy about being taken into their seventy-year Babylonian captivity. But I guess Daniel knew nothing about that.

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.”   Jeremiah 29:4 - 7

This passage alone proves Daniel and his lion’s den a fraud.

Consider also Jeremiah’s WORD on King Jehoiachin who had been taken to Babylon along with over 4,500 other Israelites from the Tribe of Judah:

“And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison. And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon, And changed his prison garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.”   Jeremiah 52:31 – 34

If the GOD of Israel put Jehoiachin King of Judah in a high position, then you can be sure that it was so HE would make Judah’s 70-year stay in Babylon one of “peace”, as it is written.

And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.”   Jeremiah 29:4 – 7

Thus, right off the bat there is reason for us to be suspicious of this Book of Daniel.

There has been much scholarly study done on the Book of Daniel. The greatest arguments entail the dating of Daniel. How ironic it is that historians can date objects as far back as millions of year ago, but it’s a serious controversy when it comes to dating the Book of Daniel. My arguments question the activities of Daniel and his lack of being a real prophet.

Information taken from the Internet are in italics.

“The controversy over dating the book of Daniel involves three basic issues: (1) the nature of prophecy, (2) alleged historical errors in Daniel, and (3) the linguistic features of Hebrew and Aramaic in the book.”

https://search.yahoo.com/search/?p=Why+is+dating+the+Book+of+Daniel+a+controversy%3F&fr=spigot-chr-ffmac&ei=utf-8&ilc=12&type=748931

Many scholars believe that this book is a farce and that Daniel’s prophecy about this IMAGE was not foretold during the days that Daniel was supposedly in Babylon but rather at some time in the 200 BCE. There are also others who believe the book to be accurate. I find this very interesting, as this controversy is just another reason to discount the Book of Daniel. There is no reason to doubt GOD’s WORD, for it always stands to serve us in matters of confusion, lies, and truth, and this book is no exception. The contents of the Book of Daniel prove that he is not a Prophet of GOD, and though he exalts GOD of Israel, he, like our wicked forefathers had his own personal dreams to fulfill. Actually, it is Daniel, per se, who renders this book suspect. And for sure, those who believe in this book should be thoroughly disturbed after learning about all the discrepancies that judge it suspicious and anything but something Israelites should be reading and teaching.

“It’s interesting, chapters two through the end of seven are not written in Hebrew; they’re in Aramaic…”

https://khouse.org/articles/2018/1318/

I find this very odd. Who starts out writing a book in one language and changes that language a few chapters before the book is finished? I question everything in this book, all because GOD of Israel did not ordain it. And if the book is associated with man’s religion, then that, too, is greater reason to leave it alone.

In Matthew 24–25, Mark 13, and Luke 21, Jesus gave a confidential briefing on His second coming to four special disciples. According to Mark, they were Peter, James, John, and Peter’s brother Andrew. This talk was important enough that it was recorded in three gospels, and it had a direct connection with Daniel’s prophecy.

https://khouse.org/articles/2018/1318/

In the past, when I was first eager to read this book, I found it a headache of a mystery to me. Nevertheless, over several years, I would try to read it again and then again. And as a result, I am still as ignorant of what this book tries to foretell the first time I read it. If the Book of Daniel has something to reveal, what is it? And why would the GOD of Israel want Daniel to be taught “the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans” (Dan. 1:4)? GOD of Israel Commanded that the Israelites be separated from other Peoples, specifically because of their heathenish customs and desires to worship idols and, yes, IMAGES.

“After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.

“Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

“Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.”   Leviticus 18:3,5,30

“Ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.”   Leviticus 20:23,24

“Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: ”   Jeremiah 10:1 - 3

Daniel seems to be moved by the spirit of a different deity, and by no means is it the GOD of Israel. OUR GOD of Israel did not cast us into the hands of the King of Babylon to learn the ways of the Babylonians. HE cast our forefathers into the hands of Babylonians for punishment and for them to think about how much they hurt HIM in turning to other gods and being disobedient to HIS Book of the Law. I don’t think Daniel got that MEMO.

“This whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.”   Jeremiah 25:11,12

Why didn’t GOD of Israel give Daniel this vision in Jeremiah? And if he is a Prophet, why didn’t he seek after the Israelites who had returned from the Babylonian 70-year captivity? In that Israelites and Christians alike call Daniel a Prophet, I fail to see where he truly prophesied.

“In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood BY BOOKS the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Daniel 9:2

So, Daniel got his information from books, did he? Thought he was a prophet. If he were a prophet he had no reason to go to books for understanding anything. He would have gone to the GOD of Israel for HIS VISIONS. This is what actually proves this Book of Daniel to be nothing more than a foolish absurdity. By Daniel going to books for knowledge destroys every idea and notion that he is a prophet. Prophets get VISIONS from GOD of Israel in order to lead and guide the Israelites “daily” and along the way. That was not his objective, for he clearly had another agenda.

If Daniel were really a Man of GOD, and if GOD had sent him to the King of Babylon, where are any visions according to “Thus Saith the LORD” written in his book, as there are to Isaac, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the others? Where in this Book of Daniel is there written “Thus Saith the LORD” about anything? This is exactly as it is with the “New Testament”. There is NO “Thus Saith the LORD” written anywhere. There is much appealing and fascinating narration but not any valid facts proving the HOLY ONE of Israel said one word to Daniel or to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, or any writers on Christianity. And just because the Book of Daniel indicates that he speaks to “The LORD” doesn’t make this book endorsed by GOD. I talk to GOD of Israel all the time, literally, as do many other people! That does not make us Prophets, as some choose to see Daniel. GOD shows HIS Prophets night visions to be given to the Children of IsraelNOT to the king of Babylon.

The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

“But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. Deuteronomy 18:15,18,20

Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:   Jeremiah 7:25

However, there is no evidence that GOD of Israel sent Daniel, only the contrary.

In that Daniel was deemed so skillful in wisdom, why didn’t he use it to convince the Israelites to stay true to the GOD of Israel and to live by HIS Book of the Law (as all GOD’s Prophets do), rather than live among the Babylonians and work for them, as Daniel did? If Daniel were a GOD-send prophet, his time spent with the Babylonians certainly does not prove it. Because of Judah’s stubborn ways, only a fraction of them returned back to the Land. Thus, the question arises, “With whom did Daniel share his visions”? Seemingly they died with him, if he were real, that is, for there is no record of him having any constant communication with Haggai, Zechariah, or Zerubbabel and the other Hebrews of their time. I fail to see Daniel concerned with sharing GOD’s LAWS of Righteousness or the building of HIS Temple. And for me, this is a major problem. Of a Truth, GOD had caused the Israelites to be taken to Babylon as a result of their wickedness. I could be wrong, but if Daniel is a Prophet of GOD of Israel, his priority should have been to impress upon the Hebrews to “Fear GOD and Keep HIS Commandments”. But as we will see, that was not at all the case.

MAKE YE NO IMAGE OR IDOL TO BOW DOWN TO IT

The obvious reason the GOD of Israel Commanded not to make IMAGES is to preclude worship of them. Isn’t this exactly what happened in the Book of Daniel?

“Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the Lord spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:  LEST YE CORRUPT YOURSELVES, AND MAKE YOU A GRAVEN IMAGE, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,”   Deuteronomy 4:15,16

“God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”   Exodus 20:1 - 4

GOD of Israel does not do IMAGES, period, and Daniel, if he were a Prophet would have known this!

Never will I believe that the GOD of Israel raised the issue of this IMAGE in Daniel via a vision. Actually, it is my firm belief that someone wrote this Book of Daniel during the Roman Era in order that it will give credence to JC, Christianity, and the “New Testament”, as it in no way exemplifies GOD’s Ordinances, HIS Righteous Way of Life, or HIS WORD to HIS Prophets. Even now that this IMAGE has been introduced in Daniel, this book serves more of as a mystery, given the fact that people worship it precisely as GOD of Israel had said – making this so-called Prophet Daniel the culprit of this abomination.

No doubt many people assume this IMAGE to be the most appealing part of Daniel’s Book, in that they are fascinated with it being divided into Kingdoms. Actually, it could even be this IMAGE in the Book of Daniel that entices people to construct these abominable IMAGES and worship them. The Catholic Churches are full of them, and other Churches are full of crosses of JC. For love of Daniel’s IMAGE, people forget that the JEALOUS GOD of Israel hates, detests, and denounces Israelites and all Peoples who serve, worship, and bow down to IMAGES. And all who do, HE gives a death sentence.

“Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee: But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land…”   Exodus 34:12 - 15

“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”   Exodus 20:4,5

“It shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.”   Deuteronomy 8:19,20

Shouldn’t Daniel have known this and decided against this so-called vision he said was from GOD? Perhaps Daniel was oblivious to these passages. This business about the king having a dream that he could not remember and Daniel interpreting it to be about an IMAGE is not what a genuine prophet of GOD of Israel would have imagined at all. Prophets who know GOD, know that HE would never give someone the vision of an IMAGE and then have people worship it (Dan. 3:15). So, what would be the purpose of a prophet writing a book about this IMAGE, given the fact that the GOD of Israel is a JEALOUS GOD and that HE exiled the Israelites for committing such abominations. If Daniel is anything, he is a man whose knowledge has been made foolish, and likewise for leaders who teach from this book.

Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers…   Isaiah 44:24 – 26

The Book of Daniel puts on an attractive spectacle, but those who know GOD of Israel see right through this charade, for it is HE that makes those who Trust in HIS WORD the wiser to see the truth of the matter.

Moreover, another truly asinine thing Daniel did to prove he is not one of GOD’s GOD-Fearing Prophets is to allow people to bow down to him and offer oblations and sweet odours unto him (Dan. 2:46). As far as I am concerned, this is insane and reason for Daniel to be stoned! This man is not a god, but he enjoys the accolades showered on him. Those who believe Daniel a Prophet of GOD know not the CREATOR, and they lack much knowledge of HIS TRUTH! In hindsight there is no reason to know anything about this IMAGE. GOD had already told the Israelites of their captivity in Babylon and in other Nations, as well, therefore, any knowledge about this IDOL serves no real purpose.

It would appear that Daniel is greedy for some serious attention and wastes no time making himself known, as he tells the King about the GOD of Israel in an effort to make him believe that he knows so much about this CREATOR GOD. For sure Daniel is no Prophet Samuel who devoted his entire life to serving HIM, albeit in Righteousness to please his GOD.

Daniel proceeds to interpret the King’s dream about this IMAGE of different Kingdoms (Daniel 2nd Chapter). And it is beyond me as to why the King was so pleased with Daniel’s interpretation. Nothing in this dream was deemed good for King Nebuchadnezzar. All the kingdoms on this IMAGE were consumed. The King should have asked Daniel what’s in it for him, but I guess the tale wasn’t supposed to take that direction. The truth of the matter is that Jeremiah had already prophesied that Babylon would be destroyed.

It shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.   Jeremiah 25:12 (See also Isaiah 13th Chapter, Jeremiah 50th and 51st Chapters, and Joel 2nd and 3rd Chapters)

Read and see that GOD of Israel had already given HIS Prophets the visions concerning these fallen kingdoms. Daniel was a Johnny-come-lately.

This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and THIS IS THE HAND THAT IS STRETCHED OUT UPON ALL THE NATIONS. For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?”   Isaiah 14:26,27

In GOD’s Hebrew Scriptures, it is even written about the bondage that would occur after the 70-year captivity. The returning Israelites to the Land lived under the control of the kings in the Land after returning from Babylon. Ezra and Nehemiah and those who returned witnessed firsthand their captivity in the days of Artaxerxes (Ezra 8:1 and Nehemiah 9:33-37). Israelites knew well of their captivity given the prophecy in Obadiah and given the Grecians removing them far from their border (Joel 3:6). After that period, the enslaved Israelites were scattered into the “Four Corners of the Earth” to serve their heathenish enemies. Israelites were privy to that captivity, as well, reason being Leviticus 26th and Deuteronomy 28th Chapters speak profusely about it. So, who needs Daniel and his deceptive book?

What is this stone that smote the image [and] became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth (Daniel 2:35).  Christians say this is JC.

“The stone that crushes this statue is Jesus Christ and the eternal kingdom of God. These four kingdoms will thus dominate the world and oppress God’s people from the time of Daniel until the day when Jesus returns, redeems His people, and bring them to heaven.”

This is just more reason to believe that the Book of Daniel is in place to promote JC. But there is more:

FRIDAY DEVOTIONAL FEBRUARY 12, 2021 PERRY KROSSCHELL”

We’ve been working through the Old Testament looking for the New Testament Jesus 100’s even 1,000’s of years before He was born. They’re all great stories on their own, but they absolutely paint a picture of who Jesus will be and what he’ll do for those who believe. Jesus claimed that the entire Old Testament pointed to Him (Luke 24:27John 5:46). Since the Book of Daniel is a part of the OT, let’s take a look to see how it points to Jesus.

Daniel was a prophet of God who experienced things that would be considered some of the worst possible. Most of his family and friends were murdered. He was taken captive to a strange land, having to give up all that he knew. They took away his manhood and made him a slave to the conquering king. Daniel could have despaired in every way. But, instead of giving in or giving up he held fast to his faith in God. Daniel knew that, despite his circumstances, God was in control and simply working out His plan.

Daniel had dreams that dramatically outlined God’s future plans. Some of them happened in his lifetime, others came true in history, but there’s one that is still to come. His dreams give a preview of God’s redemptive story and absolutely point to Jesus as Savior.

Daniel 7:13-14 says, “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like the son of man (Messiah…Matt 26:64Lk 21:27Jn 1:51), coming with the clouds of heaven (God’s majesty…Ex 16:10Ex 19:9Rev 1:7). He approached the Ancient of Days (God) and was led into his presence. He (Jesus) was given authority, glory and sovereign power: all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.”

Jesus claims to be this very Messiah 550 years later in Mark 14:61-62, “But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” Jesus said. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 says 600 years after Daniel, “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel (Michael…same one who came to Daniel) and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.”

https://pizzaranch.com/blog/friday-devotional-jesus-in-the-book-of-daniel

The information in the Book of Daniel about a Messiah alone also makes the Book of Daniel suspect. But there are even Israelite Leaders who still own it as if these passages in Daniel and in the “New Testament” are really the WORD of GOD.

The Seventh Book of Daniel does a lot of narrating but fails to provide “Thus Saith the LORD” to confirm what’s written or confirm anything written in this book. Daniel speaks about the Saints of the Most High possessing the Kingdom, but then he adds that this fourth beast will devour the whole Earth (Dan. 7:22,23). Well, this is not what GOD’s Prophet Ezekiel has said about Israel’s Return, and he certainly made no mention of a “fourth beast devouring the whole Earth” after their re-settlement:

THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. MOREOVER I WILL MAKE A COVENANT OF PEACE WITH THEM; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.   Ezekiel 37:21 – 28

THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. AND THEY SHALL DWELL SAFELY THEREIN, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and THEY SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD THEIR GOD.   Ezekiel 28:25,26

So, what is Daniel talking about with this “fourth beast” devouring the Earth AFTER the Children of Israel’s Return? Daniel’s words are just greater reason why Hebrew Israelites have to know that the Book of Daniel is not only suspect, but that it has been tampered with to give a Prophet to Christians, for of a truth they have none. Which brings to mind this Angel Michael.

Who is this Michael in the Book of Daniel?

“Michael is referred to as a "chief prince" or one who is first in rank or power. He was (and is) a very powerful and influential spirit being. Continuing in Daniel 10, note that he is again mentioned in verse 21 where he is called 'your prince.”

“Who is Michael the Archangel in the Book of Daniel?

In the book of Daniel, Michael the archangel is described as "the great prince who protects your people" ( Daniel 12:1 NIV ). Daniel is being addressed here, so "your people" refers to the Jewish people. By this we know that Michael the archangel is assigned to watch over the Jewish people.”

Ezra and Chronicles speak of “Michael” but in reference to lineage – not Michael being a Prophet.

Also, who is this Gabriel spoken of in the Book of Daniel that Christians own?

“I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.   Daniel 8:16

“Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.   Daniel 9:21,22

Why? Isn’t Daniel already supposed to have skill and understanding? He’s a Prophet, and all GOD’s Prophets were Blessed with utmost knowledge of GOD’s TRUTH. However, this Prophet Daniel didn’t get these skills until the eighth and ninth Chapters of Daniel.

“What Does the Bible Say about the Angel Gabriel?

The angel Gabriel is an angel of God who is mentioned by name three times in the Bible when he brought messages from God to Daniel, Zechariah, and Mary.”

Make note of the fact that this “Gabriel” is the same so-called Angel who said, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news." ~ Luke 1:19

In Daniel’s book, he calls a man an Angel, but unless GOD of Israel, HIMSELF, identifies a man as being an Angel, the man is not an angel! Also, Daniel should have known that the names of GOD’s Angels are “secret” (Judges 13:18). Guess why; it is no doubt because idol worshipping Israelites would build an IMAGE and call it by the name of that Angel.

Look at how the “New Testament” comes to the fore with its tale about Daniel’s Angel.

The angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.”   Luke 1:19

The angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.”   Luke 1:26,27

Was this man named Gabriel really sent from GOD, or is it simply said that he was sent from GOD? Okay, where did GOD of Israel make this statement?

Daniel also speaks of Gabriel (Daniel 8:16 and 9:21). He had heard a man telling Gabriel to make Daniel understand a vision. REALLY? Again, REAL PROPHETS do not have to be made to understand visions. GOD of Israel gives them a vision, and it is instinctively understood what to do with it. Gabriel is proving that he and Daniel are without knowledge and are incompetent.

As a result, the problem is that Daniel and this Gabriel are proved to be real culprits and anything but Men of GOD of Israel. Daniel and the “New Testament” gave this tale life in a book, but it was buried no sooner than the last pages of this book were written. None of its imaginations and visions make any sense given the past, present, or future of what’s said.

This man “Gabriel” is only found in the books of Daniel and the “New Testament”, and that speaks volumes. GOD of Israel’s true Angels NEVER gave Israelites their names, but Gabriel did.  Forget “The Dating of Daniel” to discredit this book, reason being it’s the lies in this book that connects it with the “New Testament” and, thus, makes it contemptible and unfit literature for Hebrew Israelites. Hence, this is more information that renders this Book of Daniel more suspect than ever before.

DANIEL HAD NO INTERACTION WITH THE ISRAELITES WHO WERE TAKEN TO BABYLON FOR THE 70-YEAR CAPTIVITY.

In case people are not aware, Daniel is contemporary of Zerubbabel and Haggai, but we can find no Scripture stating that Daniel met with them to discuss building GOD’s Temple.

THUS SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.”   Haggai 1:7,8

“Who was Zerubbabel in the Bible?

Zerubbabel was the grandson of King Jehoiachin of Judah ( 1 Chronicles 3:17) and thus a descendant of David. Born in Babylon during the exile (between 587 and 539 BC), Zerubbabel traveled to Judah after King Cyrus II allowed the Judean captives to return to their homeland to rebuild the temple ( Ezra 1:1–4; 6:3–5, 8–10 ).”

Daniel is also a contemporary of Ezekiel, but only one of these men executed works like a Prophet of the CREATOR GOD of Israel. And that was Ezekiel, as Daniel was more concerned about doing his own thing. However, the question that must be raised is why didn’t Daniel return to the Land with Zerubbabel (circa 538 BCE) to fulfill GOD’s desire?

“Daniel and his three friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah were exemplary in their heathen surrounding by their believing determination. The first six chapters of the book describe their - and especially Daniel's - faithfulness in the most varied circumstances of life.

Under Nebuchadnezzar Daniel served as regent over the whole province of Babylon and was chief of the governors over all the wise of Babylon (Daniel 2:48). After Nebuchadnezzar's death we hear of Daniel again during the time of Belshazzar only. Belshazzar was Nabonid's son and reigned during his father's absence as vice-king. At that time Daniel was an old man already.

After the conquest of Babylon through Darius the Mede (probably Gubaru or Gobryas) in the year 539/538 BC Daniel was appointed as one of the three presidents set over 120 satraps of the kingdom of the Medes and Persians (Daniel 6:2-3).

The last indication of a date is the 3rd year of king Cyrus of Persia in Daniel 10:1 which was the year 536/35 BC. Daniel must have been around 85 to 90 years of age when he wrote down his last visions.

Daniel was a contemporary of Ezekiel who went into Babylonian captivity in 597 BC (around eight years later than Daniel). Ezekiel mentions Daniel three times in his book ( Ezekiel 14:14; Ezekiel 14:20; Ezekiel 28:3). Daniel knew also Jeremiah's writings whose service had begun already some years before the Babylonians started to attack Jerusalem. While studying the book of Jeremiah Daniel came to the conclusion that the announced 70-years-captivity would come to a soon end (Daniel 9:2)…

https://www.studylight.org/bible/eng/cev/daniel.html

The information above makes mention of Daniel’s visions. Why would GOD of Israel give him visions if he were not among the Children of Israel, but rather hard at work for heathen Kings? To say that Daniel was a Prophet in Babylon makes no sense, for there is no record of GOD of Israel specifically giving him visions for the Israelites. To say that “Daniel had a dream and visions of his head” is not to say, “Thus Saith the Lord”, and I cannot stress that enough.

We should all agree that Daniel was indeed busy given his workload to serve the king. But he just wasn’t busy receiving visions from GOD or giving visions to the Israelites, and that is the problem. ONLY GOD knows who this man is or was.

“In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.”   Daniel 7:1

I would be remiss if I did not add that this man Gabriel and the author of the Book of Daniel deserve the same fate GOD put upon Hananiah: “Thou makest this people trust in a lie” (Jeremiah 28:15 – 17).

“Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.”   Jeremiah 28:15 – 17

Who is this Messiah spoken ONLY of Daniel and the “New Testament”?

“Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”   Daniel 9:21 – 27

People should be aware that this man Gabriel only appeared to Daniel and some other folks in the “New Testament”? Yeah, and the story about him is not noteworthy. Well, this man Gabriel, supposedly an Angel, appeared to Daniel (8:15 – 27 and 9:20 – 27). Get this, Gabriel also appeared to announce the births of John the Baptist (Luke 1:8 – 20) and the birth of JC (Luke 1:26 – 38). How ‘bout them apples? The fact that Gabriel is connected with the “New Testament” changes everything. That kills this Book of Daniel for LawKeepers. Israelites who seek to know the GOD of Israel cannot follow man-made religions and fictitious characters like Gabriel. We must be focused on GOD’s Book of the Law, HIS WORD to HIS Prophets, and seek to follow HIM and no other gods.

JUST TO BE CLEAR, JERUSALEM IS GOD’s CITY, NOT THE MESSIAH’S

“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”   Daniel 9:25

Is he kidding me? “Build Jerusalem unto the Messiah”! Really?! What Messiah and since when? King Solomon built GOD’s first temple, and he never mention any Messiah. The more you delve into this book, the more it confuses and starts to sound like a chapter of the “New Testament”. I guess whoever was talking to Daniel did not know that the GOD of Israel chose Jerusalem to place HIS Holy Name there, and thus, it cannot be for any Messiah. This is just another real good indication that Daniel is not a Prophet, and that GOD had nothing to do with this Book of Daniel.

Hence, who ever wrote this book did not do his homework. Connecting GOD’s Holy City Jerusalem with a Messiah will never happen. I will never forget that GOD of Israel is a JEALOUS GOD that wants ALL the GLORY, and HE won’t forget either. HE CREATED all this Great Universe, and HE wants HIS own place for all Peoples, especially HIS Chosen, who remain on HIS Earth to come and worship HIM. Let’s not forget that Israel was formed to show forth HIS PRAISE (Isaiah 43:21), and it will happen in HIS Holy Temple!

“But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come: And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

“Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:”   Deuteronomy 12:5,6,11

However, Daniel had no interest in serving GOD of Israel, as he preferred to serve the heathen.

Perhaps I missed something, but where did GOD of Israel ever mention the 70 Weeks of which Daniel speaks to any of HIS other Prophets?

Seventy (70) Weeks to end sin, huh? “…two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed” (Daniel 8:14). (Include Daniel 12:10 – 12 also). Okay so, when did the counting of these days start? Was it when the Israelites left Babylon, because it certainly could not have been before? The Israelites who returned after the 70-year Babylonian Captivity NEVER made an end of sin, and unto this day, the sanctuary has not be cleansed! And this business about taking seven (7) weeks to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince just does not fly, either. Jerusalem is and will always be GOD’s Holy City – not some Messiah’s! GOD of Israel chose it for HIMSELF, and King Solomon built the Temple for HIS Holy Name, so that Israelites and the Stranger will pray towards it to summon the Holy ONE of Israel (I Kings 8th Chapter).

VISION OF THE EVENING AND THE MORNING

“And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days. And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.”   Daniel 8:26 – 27

Let’s see, Daniel had a “vision of the morning”. Someone should have realized that there are no visions of the morning – only of the “Night”, as GOD of Israel had said. Daniel also said that he was “astonished at the vision, but none understood it”. I guess not. If the vision came in the morning, I can well understand that it made no sense, for given GOD’s time for visions, they occur at night when one sleeps.

Usually one of GOD’s Prophets will reveal GOD’s WORD and another or several others will confirm and validate the same information. But that is not the case with Daniel. Daniel’s Chapters 10 – 12 have neither rhyme nor reason, and they cannot be substantiated and confirmed by any of GOD’s other Prophets.

THOSE WHO SLEEP IN THE DUST OF THE EARTH SHALL AWAKE? REALLY?

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”   Daniel 12:2

Here we can find in the Hebrew Scriptures where GOD said to rebuild HIS Temple, but where is HIS WORD or any references that HE sent Daniel to the kings of Babylon and to the kings of Media-Persia to tell them about their fall? And where in GOD’s WORD is it written where “Many of them that sleep in the dust of the Earth shall awake” (Daniel 12:2)? This couldn’t be talking about the “Dry Bones” (Ezekiel 37th Chapter), as these bones are very much alive. These dry bones are living in Hell, walking in Darkness, and have no knowledge of GOD’s TRUTH. Nice try, Daniel, but it doesn’t fit, and you know what that means. Once again Daniel interjects Christianity into his book, but it only further makes the Book of Daniel unfit literature for Israelites.

Isn’t the belief that the dead will live again straight out of “New Testament” false teachings? Believe in JC and attain everlasting life (John 3:16) and rise from the dead. See also John 5:28 and Acts 24:15 on this groundless teaching.

Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.   Numbers 12:6

Daniel is seeing things, and he is neither in the “spirit” as was Ezekiel, and nor is he asleep, as GOD of Israel had cautioned us. And that is a problem, for when visions are revealed, it should be at night, and Daniel should be asleep. When writings are put before us and do not correspond with GOD’s LAW and HIS WORD and are not out of the MOUTH of HIS Prophets, it behooves us to be circumspect and take nothing for granted.

Certainly, I question Daniel’s visions mentioned in the following pages.

“Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.”   Daniel 10:5 – 8

Daniel is not consistent with what “Thus Saith the LORD”, and for that reason also, this Book and his visions are suspect.

If these pages were visions for the Israelites, then Daniel should have made it known to them, but they aren’t. Knowledge of this IMAGE was strictly for the King, and nothing else should be of any concern. Nevertheless, the question remains. How can Daniel be a Prophet if GOD of Israel did not mention revealing anything to him via “Thus Saith the LORD”? After examining this Book of Daniel, it becomes evident that he really had nothing to reveal to Israelites. And besides that, Daniel concerns himself more with fictitious times and numbers than being concerned with GOD’s people being scattered from HIS Land for their transgression. Daniel prefers to call attention to himself and leave readers with some conjured up numbers that do not serve any purpose for Israelites whatsoever, whether in Babylon or in this day and time. This book proves itself to be void of GOD’s TRUTH but replete with confusion. Never give me an unfounded mystery that makes no sense and ask me to figure it out. This is the feeling after reading this Book of Daniel umpteen times only to learn nothing about the book or the GOD of Israel.

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”   Daniel 9:24

Daniel obviously was not aware that the Ten Tribes had long since been scattered from the Land of Israel by the Assyrians (II Kings 17:6) and that Judah and Remnants of the other Tribes would also be scattered. Therefore, these “Seventy Weeks” are bogus, and the Israelites never did, unto this day, “bring in everlasting Righteousness”.

Hence, of a truth, GOD of Israel did not send Daniel and his book, either. This Book of Daniel has been believed to be of GOD’s TRUTH for far too long. And those who cannot see its misrepresentations and myths know nothing about the WORD of GOD and the Hebrew Scriptures. It is GOD’s LAW (Deut. 4:8) that makes us wise, and reading and living it provides the LIGHT (Isaiah 8:20) that enables us to see this nonsense portrayed in this Book of Daniel.

Given the contents of this Message, it is proved that the Book of Daniel is riddled with questions that raise many red flags. And when we think strongly about what’s written it should be realized that there is nothing in this book to make us the wiser. It is GOD’s LAW and the wisdom attained from HIS TRUTH that makes us know that Daniel and his book are for deceiving GOD’s Elect and giving the “New Testament” a prophet – so Christians choose to think. And as far as I can gather, the Book of Daniel is also a plant to give reality to the fabricated religion Christianity in order that it might assist in proclaiming the existence of JC. And like the “New Testament” Gospel, readers are amazed with Daniel’s narratives, and though they are void of GOD’s LAW, HIS WALK of Life, HIS Truth, and “Thus Saith the LORD”, this Book of Daniel serves Christians just as it is.

By Daniel’s own admission, this “secret” about the IMAGE is for the King of Babylon (Daniel 2:29,30), which is a fact, and, thus, Israelites have no need for this information. Those of us living today already know the history of these fallen Empires/Kingdoms/Nations and are watching closely the fall of this last one – this White Supremacist World Order that we now live in. The Israelites who went into captivity under the Babylonians knew of this as well, for GOD’s Prophets had already provided them with these revelations. So, why do we need this Book of Daniel?

From reading this book, we can learn other things about Daniel, which should make us realize that he liked and craved attention and authority, when he should have been about doing the business of a Prophet – revealing GOD’s WORD to HIS Children of Israel. It is no wonder Daniel worked for the King and not GOD of Israel.

Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.”   Daniel 2:48,49

Daniel was a prophet like none other, and that is not a compliment. He distanced himself from the very people he was supposed to provide visions from GOD of Israel. More than that, for what reason would GOD of Israel send him to Babylonians when HE had already informed the Israelites about SAVING them out of this place and afterwards destroying the Babylonians.   Certainly, GOD of Israel would not send Daniel to Babylon to have the King bow down to him and offer oblations for him. WOW! I actually shudder at the thought.

Scholars disagree about the dating of the Book of Daniel, but this Message goes well beyond dates and times. It examines Daniel’s acts and intentions judge him via GOD’s Book of the Law and HIS TRUTH. It was Moses who said, The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken. The problem with Daniel is that he was not like Moses or GOD’s other Prophets, as he obviously preferred to be associated with the Babylonians and not his Israelite brethren.

That which is also puzzling about Daniel and the contents of his book is that although he was quite aware of the sins of the Children of Israel (Daniel 9:10,20) and even confessed them in prayer, I can find no record of him admonishing them for departing from GOD’s LAW (Daniel 9:9 - 11). It would make sense that if he were a true Prophet that he would be about turning Israelites back to GOD’s WAYS of Righteousness. However, that did not happen. Therefore, Daniel’s ways, words, and his book are not only suspect, but they are to be questioned extensively and disputed.

“How did Daniel die?

The answer to this question is simple. We have no idea how Daniel died. There is no source which is helpful on this at all. However, from Daniel Chapter Six we know that Daniel survived at least a couple of years into the administration of Persia after Babylon was conquered by Cyrus in 538 BC.

It’s true; Daniel did exalt the GOD of Israel, but that proves nothing, for so also did the King of Babylon (Daniel 2:47). There are even those today who speak ever so highly of the GOD of Israel, but the MOST HIGH knows their game, and why shouldn’t HE? HE knows all to well about Israelites: This people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:” Isaiah 29:13. Once we learn about the GOD of Israel and HIS LAW, if our hearts are right, then we will FEAR HIM and KEEP HIS Commandments. But if our hearts are not right with OUR GOD of Israel, we will acknowledge HIM and will reject HIS LAWS, even HIS Law of the Sabbath, which is a “SIGN” between HIM and the Children of Israel.

So, the question remains, who really is this Daniel? If he were even a man of GOD of Israel and a genuine Prophet of the MOST HIGH, surely there should be more Scripture on him and his interaction with HIS GOD and not just this book. But then, maybe not. The Children of Israel haven’t much information, if any, to divulge on him for he did not socialize with the Israelites. And thus, herewith are multiple reasons why information on this man Daniel should be taken with a grain of salt.

ISRAELITE LEADERSHIP

If Hebrew Leaders do not search the Scriptures thoroughly before teaching it to Israelites, then they should not be Leaders. We have a GOD – and a Very Loving ONE at that. We must learn to TRUST in HIM, for HE ALONE makes us the wiser, leads us, and keeps us safe. HE is there for us, if we will obey and worship ONLY HIM. Too many Israelites are dead from following leaders who, like Daniel, love the limelight. And too many leaders are dead for teaching the imaginations of their hearts and not GOD’s LAW, as it is written. Trust no man or woman; read and study with the GOD of Israel, for HE will not deceive us. Ask HIM that which you do not understand, and see that HE will give you the answers to your questions. Reading HIS LAW, HIS WORD to HIS Prophets, the Books of the Kings, and the Psalms is the first step to learning all that we need to know about HIM.

It shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.   Deuteronomy 30:1 - 3

At that time, when we are returned, GOD of Israel will give us HIS Judges and HIS Pastors whom HE said HE would provide for us upon our return. Thus, we all have reason to stand as bold as a lion when it comes to the WORD of GOD. Otherwise, do not stand at all! It is my hope that the wise ones will study this Message and consider what truth lies in the Book of Daniel, if any.

MY GOD WITH ME TO REVEAL HIS TRUTH

AND OPEN THE EYES OF HIS PEOPLE

SO THAT HE ALONE WILL BE EXALTED!

Take you wise men, and understanding,

and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.
And ye answered me, and said,

The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known,

and made them heads over you, captains over thousands,

and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties,

and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
And I charged your judges at that time, saying,

Hear the causes between your brethren,

and judge righteously between every man and his brother,

and the stranger that is with him.
Ye shall not respect persons in judgment;

but ye shall hear the small as well as the great;

ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's:

Deuteronomy 1:13 – 17

O that there were such an heart in them,

that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always,

that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Deuteronomy 5:29
