War is not the answer

Where are the peacemakers?

War is stupid. War is uncivilized. War is evil.  In the war between Russia and the Ukraine, there will be no winners. War is not the answer. Peace is not the answer too. Of course peace is better, but is not good enough. It is too neutral. The answer is goodwill.  Seek goodwill between adversaries. Instead of war. Russia and the Ukraine should strive to become friends. This is a worthy goal.

Countries are egging them on. Threats are flying. Where are the peacemakers? Russia and the Ukraine have a long history together. Almost a half of the population of Ukraine are Russians for God’s sake. So, there already exists a strong foundation for friendship.

Instead of war, Putin and Zelensky should be sitting down together and trying to patch things up, instead of working on how to make things worse. Aim for friendship, not war. What a wonderful outcome that would be. The people of both Russia and Ukraine would  love that. It would teach the world a valuable lesson. Let us begin to make war an anachronism. We need a goodwill revolution to reduce the hatred so prevalent in the world today.
