URGENTLY NEEDED-POWERFUL PROTESTS OF POLICE BRUTALITY ON OCTOBER 22^ND

May, 2013: Bakersfield, CA-Police hog tie and beat 33-year old David Silva to death.
December, 2012: Melissa Williams and Timothy Russell are shot down in a hail of 137 bullets by Cleveland police.
August, 2013: In an assisted living home in Chicago, police tase 95-year old John Wrana and shoot him with a bean bag round, killing him.
August, 2013: Miami Beach police high-five each other after tasering to death graffiti artist Israel Hernandez-Llach.
April, 2013: St Louis, MO-police kill 25 yr old Cary Ball, Jr. in a hail of 25 bullets.
March, 2013: NY cops kill 16-year old Kimani Gray, shooting him seven times, three times in his back.

I could go on and on listing people murdered by the police in the past year alone. Add to these killings the not guilty verdict that let the vigilante murderer of Trayvon Martin walk free and the courts letting the police who killed 7 year old Aiyana Jones in Detroit and 19 year old Ramarley Graham in NYC go free. In 1996, when I co-founded the October 22^nd National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression, and the Criminalization of a Generation, I cited the nationwide epidemic of police brutality and police murder as why we needed this day.

Today, police, and racist vigilantes, are still getting away with murder. We need to take to the streets on October 22^nd, organize cultural events and demonstrate our outrage at these horrors in other ways.

All this is occurring at a time when millions of people are deeply questioning the injustice of this country. This questioning drove thousands into the streets in outrage following the verdict in the Trayvon Martin case. These outpourings were followed by a heroic and inspiring hunger strike by prisoners in California.

It is urgently necessary, and very possible, to tap into that questioning and outrage and bring it out into the streets on October 22, 2013, the 18th annual National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality. October 22 has become the day to say NO MORE to the official brutality and government repression that is devastating the lives of millions of people. And it is the day that victims of this injustice have a platform to bring into the light of day the horrors that have been inflicted on them.

A system that subjects so many people to official brutality and treats so many of the youth like criminals — guilty until proven innocent, if they can survive to prove their innocence is illegitimate. It will take Revolution — Nothing Less! to end this nationwide epidemic of police brutality and all the horrors this system inflicts on people around the world. And these horrors must be met right now with determined resistance. October is the day to manifest that resistance.

Everyone who hates injustice needs to be a part of acting on Oct 22^nd. We must put our hoodies back up and say in a loud voice — NO MORE — to this official brutality!

What The Church is teaching is NOT what The Messiah taught. They're teaching the gospel of Paul, ABOUT The Messiah, NOT The Gospel OF The Messiah. See how subtle the trick is. Gen, 3:15 tells us WHY these devils HATE us so. "I will put enmity (which is hatred), between the SERPENTS Seed (THEM) & The Woman's Seed (US). The Church have to acknowledge that THEY are still teaching what was taught to our ancestors on The Plantation & it's up to US, the intelligent generation, to Set The Record STRAIGHT & get away from that Bullshit once & for all.
