Trump has lowered the bar

One of the worst consequences of the Trump presidency is that he has lowered the bar so low that Biden can get away  with atrocious foreign policy acts without any political price to pay.
 A few  examples are:

  • Sending cluster bombs to Ukraine which are banned by 120 countries (including NATO countries)
  • Announcing his intent to nominate Elliott Abrams, a former Trump appointee on Venezuela and Iran, who terrorized Latin America under Ronald Reagan., to the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy
  • Placing nuclear submarine in Guantanamo

Alas Biden is becoming more like Trump every day.
