Tisdale died May 15th after a two year battle with cancer.Tisdale grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and played college basketball at Oklahoma University. He then went on to play 12 years in the N.B.A. (Indiana, Sacramento, and Phoenix). Upon retiring from the N.B.A., he went on to become a critically acclaimed jazz bassist. He recorded 8 CDs and performed his music all over the world.This week’s show will include phone calls from some of Tisdale’s friends from sports, entertainment and life.
