WHEN BLACK HISTORY BECOMES HATE SPEECH, PART 2
In our last thrill-packed commentary, I brought up the fact that many Black teachers have forgotten Black History and have become ‘satisfied’ with students in urban education who can barely read, write and spell ALL for the teachers to be ‘accepted’ by white and Black liberals (otherwise known as ‘the oppressor’). Of course, many of these Black teachers get hefty paychecks and perks while their students suffer educational neglect in the classroom, and illegal alien children continue to advance in front of them.
In our history, we were once forbidden to learn how to read. This was more than 175 years ago in America. Now that we have the opportunity to read, we have some Black teachers who care more for themselves, rather than seeing our race succeed and be competitive in our modern era.
Let’s now turn to the Black Press.
THIS is why much of the Black Press has moved from being advocates and champions FOR our people and have moved over to accepting cash and prestige from white and Black liberals and have ‘shuttered’ Black History, relegating it to a once-a-year thing, with godliness and biblical truth omitted ‘so as not to offend’ the power structure. The same Black Press who does cartwheels for Planned Parenthood, celebrities, and other liberal causes forget Ida B. Wells, William Alexander, Tony Brown and others who covered our people good and bad WITH God’s protection and wisdom.
Many publications of the once proud ranks of the Black Press—including broadcast facilities—have cared more for political party rather than the truth; more for getting paid rather than getting it right; more for ‘looking good’ rather than covering the truth well. When wrong was done by our people against our people IN our communities, it was the Black Press who found that wrong and stayed on the job until it was corrected.
Today, there are a mere handful of Black publications on the job for our people.
Speaking of getting paid, did you know that there has been a plan hatched to have liberal money men—and women—pay money to understaffed and overworked Black publications through grants and manpower? Thanks to our modern age of technology and AI, writers, reporters and editors from larger liberal publications can ‘pass on’ their coverage of liberal issues into the Black (and Brown) communities. Righteous causes, such as the biblical views of home, education, entrepreneurship and the like often go by the wayside; the aim of this ‘free help’ so to speak is to keep the Black community ‘enslaved’ and seeking government help and curtailing self-sufficiency.
One way to do this? Outlaw and ‘gloss over’ our past history makers and world shakers for the sake of putting forth Black entertainers and sports figures. The successful Black businessman has been pushed aside; the studious Black inventor has been relegated to silence; the wisdom of our upright Black fathers and preachers on the issues of our day have been filed under ‘missing’. Further, the God who guided our successful progress has been forgotten.
This is no accident. It has been gradually forged by satanic design.
Again, Black History has been regarded as ‘hate speech’ in our ‘sophisticated’ modern era because of the God element—even in many of OUR pulpits! THIS is why many Black students still can’t read. THIS is why Black teachers—in many urban schools—are quite content to teach CRT, waive the Rainbow or BLM flags, and spout gibberish to impressionable minds in order to keep their paychecks coming and ‘hang out’ with the oppressor—white and Black liberals who are thinking ONLY about their family ‘getting ahead’ at the expense of our people.
THIS is why many Black Press outlets have shelved our history for convenient ‘social’ truth. THIS is why God has not blessed our people with the Reparations that have been LONG overdue. We have forgotten what He has done IN our own history. Many of our Black political leaders have become corrupt and forgotten who got them where they are today.
As I wrap this up, here’s a pair of quotes worth requoting:
“When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.”
- --Thomas Sowell, Author

“It’s not what you call me, but what I answer to.”
--Tony Brown, Author
Is this Black enough for you? Happy Black History month!
