The Quick Scan by Mike Ramey

It took me a while, but I finally figured out of whom the Climate Warriors (the ‘modern’ name for environmentalists/feminists) remind me.  Let me unpack my illustration in the next few lines.

A few years back, in my neck of the woods, the social do-gooder coven got our lawmakers to pass an ordinance requiring that dog owners—when they walk their pets—clean up after Fido when they make a solid deposit.  Thus, it makes the dog owner responsible for the clean-up—NOT the person who owns the property where the ‘deposit’ is dropped.

Are you with me so far?

Now, I consider myself a friendly guy.  I like to talk with my neighbors, and they like to talk with me—even when they walk their dogs.  Some ‘clean up’ after Fido; some do not.  I’ve noticed that some of those who walk their dogs by my property do not say anything to me when they let their dog leave a deposit.  I call these offenders on their negligence and they either clean up OR take Fido across the street on their next walk.  Further, there are ‘offenders’ who know the ordinance exists—but they treat my property wrong via Fido—but their property is too ‘valuable’ to have Fido do their ‘business’ at home.

This illustration surfaced recently when I heard the excuses that some of the Climate Warriors gave for taking private jets to their ‘environmental shindigs’.  Now, a private jet—each time one is used—has a carbon footprint the size of Godzilla.  More than one of the ‘high profile’ Climate Warriors stated that they ‘had’ to take their own jets; it would take ‘far’ too long to fly commercial OR take a cruise to get to their destination.  In other words, they have the means and the money to fly privately but want to condemn the people who go to work, pay taxes, and raise a family to ‘environmental prison’ for daring to question their motives and sincerity.

After all, in the mind of the Climate Change Warrior, the REST of us are not in their league.  Thus, in the mind of the Climate Change Warrior, humans (besides them) are expendable.  After all, you haven’t heard that much outcry from them about child slave labor in the Motherland have you?  Or Abortion on Demand applies to shrink YOUR family—not theirs!  Or Illegal aliens may pour through the US Border and snatch up H-1-B Visas, while American families struggle to find employment.

“For the good of the cause”, we hear them say, as they stuff themselves with meat while we are lectured on the beauty of veggies and bugs.

Folks don’t fall for the ‘hype’ from the Climate Change crowd.  All they are attempting to do is intimidate the rest of us (especially people of color) around the world that they are exempt from the laws that they are attempting to force on their neighbors.  The ‘crowd’ continues to walk their policies across our various societies, expecting us to accept their outcomes when not one of their fearmongering proclamations have come to pass.  Be friendly—but firm.  Let them know that you might listen to what they have to say IF you can see them try it in their yard first—instead of yours.
