Joe Cecala is the Founder and CEO of the Dream Exchange, poised to become the first Black-owned stock exchange in the history of the US, focusing on small business capital formation and diversity using the power of the American investing public. This new stock exchange will allow investors to empower innovators and emerging businesses in a way that has never been done before.

With over 30 years of experience with capital markets, Joe Cecala has taken on the responsibility of closing the wealth gap, providing the equity businesses need in order to create jobs that contribute to the local economy, and positively impact the Black community.

In our interview, Joe did not shy away from sharing his views on the barriers to creating wealth and the lack of financial literacy that could potentially hinder the success of the Dream Exchange. He spoke candidly and in-depth about partnerships and collaborations that will provide tools to address the apprehensions that exist in the Black community toward the power of investing in the stock market as well as access to capital networking software that allows businesses to find investors and investors to find innovative new companies.
