Once again, the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace,
Friendship and Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) wants to bring to the world’s
attention the sad and unfortunate events unfolding in Libya. While the
international news media especially CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera have
sought to paint a picture of ‘Libyan pro-democracy’ forces fighting a
‘dictatorial’ government for ‘democratic reforms’ the truth on the
ground is different.
The so-called rag-tag army of pro-democracy fighters is actually
terrorist Al Qaida operatives recruited and trained by the CIA and its
surrogate agencies to maim and kill the Libyan political leadership
and ultimately take over the country and hand its rich petroleum and
gas reserves to the American oil companies whose funds ensured that
Barak Hussein Obama became the president of the US. That is exactly
what the plan is and that is what they are doing but unfortunately,
they have failed as they are already talking about talks to end the
chaos and mayhem they have been pushed to unleash on their country.
They have realized belatedly that Tripoli is a bridge too far to cross
and it is better they sit down to talk though they are still stating
conditions for laying down their arms.
Our concern is not for the innocent Libyans – the women, aged and
children – who have been trapped and being terrorized by both these
CIA backed criminals operating from the air dropping Tomahawk and
Cruise missiles on these defenseless civilians in the name of
protecting them alone. We are very much concerned also with the
ethnic jingoism that has been introduced by these notorious,
blood-soaked, terrorists who enjoy the support and backing of the
United States, Britain and France to unleash holocaust tragedy on the
African soil of North Africa.
As we earlier alerted the world, a certain hate campaign has been
mounted by these terrorist criminal elements against all sub-Saharan
Africans who have lived and worked in that country. Even native
Libyans who are not of Arab extraction have been summarily executed.
The belief of these CIA stooges is that these Africans and
dark-skinned Libyans are mercenaries recruited by the government to
stop their murderous activities. News reports from Benghazi and the
port city of Brega have confirmed that fact of thousands of butchered
African bodies on the streets of the city.
Just as we saw in Iraq and Afghanistan, collateral damage is creeping
into the NATO language of war, civilian deaths are being reported in
various cities across Libya wherever the B52 bombers have flown to sow
their seeds of destruction but the so-called civilized world is
keeping a deathly silence. It is interesting that the Arab League that
had the courage to ask the UN to sanction an attack on a member
country protecting itself against terrorist attacks andcriminal
invasion is lily-livered on issues concerning the liberation of
Palestine from the evil Zionist clique sitting in their midst. Now
that the civilian deaths are mounting we wonder what they will say
next.
We also appeal to the international community not to countenance the
appeal for arms, ammunition and other logistics of war launched by
these renegades. As they are not a legitimate government, the world
cannot arm them against a sitting government that is recognized by all
international bodies including the United Nations, African Union,
Non-Align Movement, Organization of the Islamic Conference, Maghreb
Union and the Arab League, doing so will be tantamount to a full
declaration of war on this independent and sovereign nation by the
world. The world has seen enough of this example of arms in the wrong
hands in recent times. The CIA armed the Taliban against the Russians
and the result is not a secret anymore. It is on record that the first
American soldier killed in Afghanistan was shot by a teenager wielding
an AK47 supplied to the Taliban years earlier by the CIA.
As an international movement desirous of ensuring peaceful coexistence
and the use of dialogue in all situations, we totally reject this call
for support by the rebel criminal gangs who are bent on fulfilling the
Al Qaeda in the Maghreb’s agenda of having a base in the Sahara, a
move the Libyan government has used its intelligence network to
successfully neutralize all these years. Now that criminal and
murderous gang is having a free reign in the Arab Maghreb thanks to
Obama, David Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy and their fellow henchmen
sitting in Whitehall and Downing Street.
In conclusion, we appeal to the international community especially
Third World nations in the UN with seats at the Security Council and
also the Non-Aligned Movement to as a matter of urgency table a motion
at the Council to halt the NATO attacks on a sovereign state and stop
the madness and reign of terror that the Western nations have
unleashed on Libya.
Enough is enough!
