The Chicago N'COBRA hosted the 22nd Annual N'COBRA Conference on June 24-26, 2011 in Chicago, IL
 
It was a successful conference with a number of organizations participating who came from as far as the United Kingdom and Canada who believed in the theme of the conference--"Never Give Up: Be Prepared for Reparations Now!"  (Bambalela: Jitayarishe) Friday Workshop led by Wekesa & Afiya Madzimoyo on Healing the Wounds of Oppression was very popular and dynamic. The Town Hall meeting on Friday June 24th with Moderator Glen Ford & panelists: Omali Yeshitele;  Conrad Worrill; Farid Muhammad, Ahmed Saadiq;  Ali Rashid; and Adjoa Aiyetoro who all delivered a strong message on National Minority Rights, Human Rights, Sovereignty and Self-Determination as Reparations.
Saturday, June 25th during the AM session was Reports From the Trenches was very productive Ron Carter, Chicago Black Wall Street, emphasis of Black Businesses & Economical Prosperity; Phillip Jackson, The Black Star Project with Educate or Die and Afiya Madzimoyo with methods to Heal the Wounds of Oppression.
 
A call was made by Adjoa Barbara Baker, Midwest Region Rep. that more organizations join the N'COBRA
movement during this time when the UN has passed a resolution that 2011 is the International Year for People of African Descent.
