I am so proud of progressives. Progressives is the only group to put morality over all other considerations, like nationalism,  ethnicity, self-interest, political expediency, popularity and mammon.

As I mentioned before, if George Washington had opposed slavery while it was flourishing, he would have been thrown out of office  on his ear.  He was trapped in the evil slavery. In the past similarly progressives were alone in their opposition to atrocities like colonialism, imperialism, Jim Crow, the Vietnam war and the killing of indigenous peoples before the rest of the world joined them.

Biden cannot get bipartisan support for the Build Back Better bill, a substantial benefit to all Americans, but he gets such support for sanctions, which are worse than war crimes. Ask the people of Afghanistan, where 23 million people face death by hunger because of these evil sanctions. It seems that only progressive Americans oppose these sanctions. I am so proud of progressives. How many more innocent men, women and children, in Cuba, Nicaragua, Venerzuela and oiter countries all over the world, will have to die a horrible death because of US sanctions? How many?
