On the morning of Wednesday 17th. August 2011,a coalition of 13 Barbadian organisations will be staging a Protest March that will be directed against the US embassy in Wildey, St. Michael and the British High Commission in Collymore Rock, St. Michael,to protest against the ongoing NATO military assault on the African nation of LIBYA.
 
The marchers will also use the occasion to deliver to Mr. Christopher Sandrolini, the Charge-de Affairs of the US embassy, and to Mr. Paul Brummel, the British High Commissioner,an official letter of protest addressed to President Barack Obama and to Prime Minister David Cameron.
 
Marchers will start assembling in the carpark of Wildey Business Park at 9:30 AM on Wednesday 17th August, and the event will commence at 10AM with an address to the assembled marchers, to be followed by the delivery of the protest letter to Mr Sandrolini,a march down Collymore Rock to the British High Commission,delivery of a similar protest letter to Mr Brummel, and a final address to the marchers.
 
All Barbadians are welcome to join and participate in the march.
