i READ this piece from 4 or 5 different media venues and came away with an idea for this blog?

My fam and i are horse owners, and we take a daily trail ride along the bay trails almost 7 days a week when possible. As a professor. nurse Prac and biz owner we/i travel a great deal wheeling and dealing and planning how to make our biz grow, while still looking to Africa/Cuba.

We shared our goals together this morn, and after a few days in Cuba, the preparations are in full swing..

If my sons had thier rathers, were single, and did not overstand what it takes to relocate our tribe, they would have left amerikkka after 9/11

Which leads me back to t this blog:

Sheila Johnson, billionaire co-founder of Black Entertainment Television and ex-wife of Robert Johnson, apologized Monday for pretending to stutter at a campaign event in Virginia as she mocked Creigh Deeds, the Democratic candidate for governor. She stunned Virginia political observers in July when she endorsed Republican Bob McDonnell in the governor's race, though she was a major donor to President Barack Obama, Gov. Timothy M. Kaine and other Democrats. In a YouTube video posted by Democratic blogger Ben Tribbett from a September 25 McDonnell reception, Johnson tells a small crowd that Virginia needs a governor "who can really communicate, and Bob McDonnell can communicate."

. Remember Bob Johnson talked about then-candidate Barack Obama's drug use during the presidential campaign when he supported Hillary Clinton.

SO???, is that an excuse to be unkind, rude or distasteful? There were and still are a lot of not so nice things said about Barak Obama. aAnd i am one in the billions who beats him up at every chance i get because of his politic... not his ears, small abs narrow hips..LOL looks etc?

So now my OP:

Why apologize? Because, it was the right thing to do under the worst of circumstances and dances.

Where i personally appreciate the position Mrs Johnson, has taken as it relates to being ashamed of BET, my thoughts run the gamit of 3 questions:

1. Sorry because she was queried

2 Sorry because the statement was unkind about anyone with a possible speech impairment OR

3 Sorry becasue she should be?

It is apparent that in this scary amerikkka, that ignorant statements, arrogant statements, and statements that have nothing to do with politics are often the only way some are able to get attn. However, for me to accept Mrs Johnsons, reasoning is like riding Tchaka without rest for 40 hours..It is not something that should be attempted because it will fail.

When i read the entire story, i was asked my op by my son and i shared this:

DAMMIT IF SHE WAS GOING TO SAY SOMETHING AS STUPID AND UNKIND AS THAT..WHY APOLOGIZE, JUST KEEP TALKING BECAUSE THERE ARE NO WORDS IN ANY LANGUAGE THAT WILL ERASE THE WORDS OR THE HURT..

OR DO NOT WAIT FOR THE MEDIA TO QUERY HER,.CONVENE THE MEDIA AND STR8T OUT APOLOGIZE TO THE MAN IN HIS FACE.. OR SHUT THE HELL UP!

Johnson goes on to admit that BET may be contributing to the spread of AIDS in the black community by promoting raunchy, unprotected sex in rap music videos.

“When we started BET, it was going to be the Ebony magazine on television,” Johnson told The Daily Beast. “We had public affairs programming. We had news… I had a show called Teen Summit, we had a large variety of programming, but the problem is that then the video revolution started up… And then something started happening, and I didn’t like it at all. And I remember during those days we would sit up and watch these videos and decide which ones were going on and which ones were not. We got a lot of backlash from recording artists… and we had to start showing them. I didn’t like the way women were being portrayed in these videos.

The author JOHN JELKS could care less about what Mrs Johnson, believes or perhaps even says rather, i believe he is stroking the flames of debate, and may support Johnsons ex and cares nothing about the fact that BET may be a contibutor as many media shows are to HIV/AIDS in the communty.

However, Mrs Johnson should be advised that HIV/AIDS is spreading like wildfire in other communities as well.AIDS knows no respect of person..THIS IS MULTICULTURAL AMERIKKKA?

Jelks, claims to be unhappy about Mrs Johnsons statements. and almost calls her a liar?

.To him i say..who cares what makes you happy?..Would the possibility of anyone in your home being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS make her statements any more or less valuable..i sense in my motherly senses jealousy and a bit of wombman hatin?

The truth is that money makes us do things that cause us to be ashamed, but we keep doing those things because we feel that our financial success can be a source of validation.

For Jelks Money may make HIM do things that make HIM ashamed but for many that is not the case..His use of the word WE" makes me ask WE WHO? NO! senor Jelks..MONEY made U do things u were ashamed of and placing the blame on others is a farce..Since u cannot possibly know how others think, act or live thier daily lives

i believe based upon the NON COMMENTS at his blogs, that Jelks is guzzling hata aide, and that he is possibly an African? who dislikes African women who have a voice..and $$$$..OR a white writer seeking kudos in the African community..WHATEVA WHOEVA I AM IN HIS FACE.

Another issue i took sides on as always, whenever a wombman speaks out about AIDS in our communities it is often the African man who takes issue with that..Instead the author, decided to forego that statement and attack from the financial basis, and then drop a few lines about HIV AIDS and promiscuity?..Is there some accuracy here Mr Jelks, or perhaps a little guilt?

Jelks, also wrote that Mrs Johnson should give back her $$$ ??? ..Give back what?

She was not at the helm when VIACOM set up the horror show? Plus how does Jelks, know what she has funded or where some of her billions go?

i am not a journalist, however, i have a perception that overides most inane excuses to jab at African wombmen under the guise of getting out the word. (Is it my locs?) i googled the author and came up with sev possibilities so it became obvious that the John Jelks writer is not all that ..NOR THE BAG OF VEGGIE CHIPS!
