Patan Darbar Square

Patan Darbar Square is one of the popular darbar square among three Durbar of kathmandu valley which is well  known as Lalitpur or the "city of fine arts" and is the oldest city in the valley. Patan Darbar Square is listed in World Heritage Cultural site of UNESCO Sites. It is well known as place for Bajrya yana practise monastry of Nepal. Patan Darbar Square is situated at the centre of Lalitpur city.  It is also known as famous for historic and cluturally sight seeing spot.  Patan Darbar Square is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments with bronze gateways, guardian deities and wonderful carvings.

This Buddhist City is said to have been founded by Emperor Ashoka.  It is believed that the city was founded in the 3rd century A.D.  Patan is probably one of the oldest Buddhist City in the world. It offers to see you   Patan Darbar Square, Patan bronze art, buddhist and hindu Culture,  History, Krishna Temple, Kumbheswor Temple, Golden Temple, Thousand Buddha, Hirnya mahabihar, Rudra maha bihar.
