Oganuzo Felicitates With Ag.  ACG Frank Onyeka, Hails CGC Adeniyi on His Promotion

In a show of solidarity and camaraderie,the chairman/ Chief executive officer of Odest Global Resources, a Customs Bonded Terminal based in Port Harcourt, Mr Chidera Oganuzo has sent his heartfelt felicitation to the newly promoted Acting Assistant Comptroller General of Customs in charge of Human Resources Department, Frank Onyeka even as he has commented the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR PhD for promoting Ag.AGC Onyeka.


Mr. Chidera Oganuzo noted that with the development, Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR PhD has demonstrated a very strong will to reward hard work, committment and dedication to duty insisting that Ag.AGC Frank Onyeka on the saddle of Customs Human resources Department will bring a lot of experience to bear, bearing in mind his track records in human and material management.


Continuing, Oganuzo stated that he recalled with nostalgia the days of Frank Onyeka at Onne as a young officer and even when he came back as the OC in charge of FOT gate Onne that Onyeka showed capacity in discharge of his duties demonstrating commitment and understanding that the only way to deliver his job is through compliance to the cargoe clearance procedures and shun any act capable of undermining the well-being of the masses by making sure that no unwholesome goods was allowed to exit from the Port.


Oganuzo added that Unalloyed commitment to duty and Selfless service delivery pay because according to him, nothing comes on a platter of gold insisting that Ag. ACG Onyeka has shown leadership prowess, integrity and good ethical conduct.


However with the development, industry watchers and critical stakeholders were of the view that the unprecedented innovations started by CGC Adeniyi would be sustained especially in the area of human capital development in all the Customs formations with Onyeka at the helm.


Oganuzo continued by saying that with Ag. ACG Onyeka's unprecedented record in revenue generation, Trade facilitation and anti- Smuggling activities at Tincan Island Port Customs Command Lagos among others, his elevation is in order.


His words: “This elevation is a call for more work and I call on officers and men of the Nigeria Customs Service to redouble their efforts and zeal to achieve the tripod policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Customs hinged on Consolidation, Collaboration and Innovation in line with international standards and best practices.”
