"LIVING LEGENDZ” FILM FUNDRAISER

Filmstress Filmz is sponsoring two film fundraisers for their documentary series Living Legendz, which highlights the lives of iconic African & Latino icons who have made contributions to their culture; stories rarely heard in mainstream media.

Please come and join us along with Jaylene Clark, Ngoma, Baba Wesley and many other spoken word artists in helping to raise funds for this film.

A work-in progress will be screened with the audience and will conclude with a performance from legendary “Last Poet”, Abiodun Oyewole!

It is the hope of Filmstress Filmz and the producers that this project can help jumpstart students enthusiasm in cultural history and encourage both students and professors alike to appreciate the important history of all of our Living Legendz!
