That was the ultimatum Netanyahu gave to the Palestinians of Gaza. And President Biden, by giving him unrestricted support, was saying, “We will give you enough bombs to make sure you do it”. Netanyahu and Biden have lived up to their threats as thousands of innocent Palestinians men, women and children have been killed.

Can you imagine a bomb falling on your home that you have worked so hard to obtain? No homeowners insurance will ever replace it. Can you imagine your wife and kids buried under tons of debris?

But even if you or your family survive, Netanyahu orders you to leave your home. “Go south or die!” Because your car and roads have been destroyed, you must give up your cherished home to walk south with wife and kids  to homelessness.

I am so ashamed of these Netanyahu-Biden war crimes. I am dismayed by the silence or worse of politicians that I have admired and respected, especially the black ones. But, I am so proud of the people who have raised their voices in opposition, some even risking severe reprisal. I am also especially proud of the numerous Jewish voices in opposition declaring emphatically “not in our name”. All these voices of opposition are not only trying to save the Palestinian people but are trying to rescue America’s reputation. Both are uphill battles against tremendous odds. It keeps me awake nights.
