Justin Timberweek on LATE Night With Jimmy Fallon

3828546569?profile=originalTGIF is Back! Friday Nights have never been better. If you haven't caught the hype that has been sizzling all week on NBC Late Night With Jimmy Fallon then let's catch you up on the action... As you know Justin Timberlake's anticipated LP The 20/20 Experience will be released March 19. If you click here to go to iTunes now you can actually stream the entire album. Fallon and his crew got a handle on this early and prepared for JT's guest appearance on the nightly broadcast for a full week! Not sure how the once SNL comedian turned night show host did it but he and his team made it happen and for that receives major kool points. Anyone who can have an Artist hang out and share skits before the grand hooplah over their creative genius is ahead of the game. But just to add this isn't the first time our boi JT brought his corky silly-self to the late night stage.

Already done three times before tonight starting in 2010 it was here The History of Rap sessions between two 80's and 90's inspired men were born. It was another complete array of nostalgic hits we all know or mostly know all the way down to the very last one Eminem “Lose Yourself”. There’s no way it didn’t move you to want to get up and dance wherever you were-whether it was at home, over a friend’s crib, or catching it out and about on your mobile device or digital player. The caption from what they mostly covered: I loved when they both did their own b-boy stance on Sugar Hill Gang/Sir Mix A lot ‘Jump On It’ reminding me of Will Smith and Carlton (played by Alfonso Ribeiro) in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air jutting their pelvises and hopping around in circles. Sadly I didn’t catch on to certain lyrics until LL Cool J’s ‘Going Back To Cali’ then Slick Rick’s ‘Children’s Story’, 2 Live Crew ‘Me So horny’, A Tribe Called Quest ‘Scenario’, Wreckz-N-Effect Shake ‘Rump Shaker’ (Cracking me up as Fallon sings through his legs with his butt in the air lol), Salt and Pepper ‘Shoop’, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop The Lion ‘Gin and Juice’, Busta Rhymes ‘Woo Hah! Got You All In Check’, Biggie Smalls ‘Hypnotize’, Missy Elliot ‘Get Ur Freak On’, Jay-Z ‘Izzo (H.O.V.A)’, Nelly ‘Ride With Me’, 50 Cent ‘P.I.M.P’, Chamillionaire “Riding Dirty/Whiz Khalifa Black & Yellow”, Trinidad James ‘All Gold Everything’, Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis ‘Thrift shop’, Eminem ‘Lose Yourself’, and a last fade-off of ‘Jump On It’ completing The History of Rap 4!

Is it me or has every show Justin has featured on it turned out to be one of the very best live shows you could possibly see through your television set?!?? It takes a full concert experience to another level. His performance of "Mirrors" was hottt and SNL was equal madness. No holding back and extra elements for a ticket worthy of a front row seat plus VIP passes Behind The Stage. Something great really has happened with how Artists are showcasing their performances. This Cotton-Club, instrumental, “big band” dancing style has taken over…out of nowhere it seems. One other top act right now that has taken advantage of this new wave trend is Bruno Mars. He puts on a very good show every time. Shout out to you!

What makes it work is how it combines a style from a certain period and intertwining it with what’s modern on the pop-scene and in hip-hop. JT got his work cut out for him on the real tip. Even if he does goof off a lil' bit on the corny side with Fallon there were moments I was cracking up on their silliness. But did anyone else notice that one only black chick in the very back!?!? I found it quite interesting how there was not a single black person in sight, or any people of color for that matter. Where were we?!!! Had to catch it again to make sure I didn't skip anyone and there were a few scattered in the bunch, but hidden very well. JT is too Kool to not want to miss so I’m not sure what was going on there unless Fallon charges an arm and leg for ticket prices to his show. All those peeps that showed up caught an Amazing show and were lucky enough to catch a hi-five from both guys as they ran up the stairs to the audience to greet everyone. I’m ready for this 20/20 Experience, what about you Kool World? ;)
