In Support of Marilyn Mosby

Let us take a critical look at the charges against Baltimore City states attorney, Marilyn Mosby:

  • The indictment charges Mosby with four counts. One relates to a $40,000 withdrawal Mosby took from her city retirement account in May 2020, citing that she had experienced a financial setback due to the pandemic.
Bottom line- the $40,000 was all her money
  • She lied in order to lower the interest rate when she purchased a vacation home in Kissimmee, Florida, claiming it was a second home when she had already lined up a management company to utilize it as a short-term rental.
Bottom Line – she did not rent the property. Lining up a rental company is not the same as renting.
  • She also did not disclose as required that she had a federal tax lien when buying the home, the indictment says.
Bottom line – she said she did not receive it and there is no proof that she did.

If this is not an obvious witch hunt I don’t know what is! Of course, there seems to be no legit probable cause for all this investigation of her. We all know the real probable cause or shall I say ‘causes’. They are:

  1. To punish her for seeking justice for poor black Freddie Gray
  2. To discredit a black hero
  3. To promote Maryland Republican governor Larry Hogan who attacked her recently as some sort of crusader to enhance his political image when he decides to run for the senate against Chris Van Hollen or for US president.
  4. To scare off black politicians from sticking their necks to serve and protect poor black people when they are persecuted by the establishment.

Unfortunately, number 4 is already having effect. Where are the black leaders coming to her support. She was unable to get justice for Freddie Gray, but at least she put up a fight. Her enemies are powerful and may even take her down, but lets all come together and put up a fight, instead of cowering in our little corner.

Hail Marilyn Mosby! We’ve got your back!”
