Events on Dec. 5 and Dec. 12 will focus on Jewish-African American Relations. The presentations are part of a current Holocaust Memorial Center exhibit, “Beyond Swastika and Jim Crow,” which is on display through Dec. 15.

Farmington Hills, MI, November 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus (www.holocaustcenter.org) and Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (http://thewright.org) are partnering to host a two-event series, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12, focusing on Jewish-African American relations.

The presentations are part of a current Holocaust Memorial Center exhibit, “Beyond Swastika and Jim Crow,” which is on display through Dec. 15. The exhibit tells the story of Jewish professors who fled Nazism and came to America in the 1930s and 1940s, finding teaching positions at historically black colleges and universities. The exhibition explores the encounter between these scholars and their students, and their impact on each other, the Civil Rights Movement and American society.

The first of the two events takes place at 7 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the Holocaust Memorial Center (28123 Orchard Lake Road) in Farmington Hills. Dr. Howard Lupovitch, Director of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies at Wayne State University, will present on “Emancipation and Abolition: The Transatlantic Search for Freedom.”

Dr. Lupovitch will explore the activism of a group of Jewish freedom fighters who fought for Jewish emancipation in Central Europe until 1848, and then came to America and joined with the Abolitionists to fight against slavery. Admission for the event is $8 (free for Holocaust Memorial Center members).

On Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m., the Charles H. Wright Museum (315 E. Warren Ave.) in Detroit hosts University of North Carolina Professor of History Dr. Genna Rae McNeil for a presentation on “Convergence in the Midst of Conflict: African Americans and Jewish Relationships, 1930-1954.” Admission for this event is free.

Dr. McNeil will discuss the courage of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who was martyred in Germany during World War II, the impact of Jewish scholars at historically black colleges and universities, and Jewish defenders of the rights of African Americans in movements for justice, freedom and equality prior to the Civil Rights Movement.

“The strong relationship between Jews and African Americans is not something that everyone knows about,” said Holocaust Memorial Center Executive Director Stephen M. Goldman. “Working with the Charles H. Wright Museum enables us both to take this message beyond our usual audience and show how the power of mutual respect between two groups can help one day to bring us closer to reaching universal hope, tolerance and understanding of one another.”

The Black United Fund of Michigan is presenting the two-event series with additional support from the Anti-Defamation League, Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion, Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies at Wayne State University, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Wayne State University Law School and Damon J. Keith Law Collection.

About the Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus
The Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus opened in 1984. Local Holocaust survivors, with community support, founded the museum to teach about the senseless murder of millions, and why everyone must respect and stand up for the rights of others if the world is to prevent future discrimination, hate crime and genocide. As Michigan’s only Holocaust museum, the Holocaust Memorial Center annually touches the lives of more than 85,000 individuals, who leave the museum profoundly affected with a newly acquired sense of history, social responsibility and morality. The Holocaust Memorial Center’s exhibits create a call to action, teaching visitors through the examples of those who risked their lives to save others, and asking its guests to react to contemporary challenges such as racism, intolerance, bullying and prejudice.

The facility is wheelchair accessible and free parking is available at both the North and South entrances.

We are such a confused people. When will we awaken? The NOI has already published two volumes that document the deep involvement of the "Jews" in the Transatlantic Slave Trade. These books stirred enormous controversy, yet remain unrebutted. The "Jews" refuse to enter into debate about them. These people are impostors, worse, even they admit that they are not the true Jew, but blacks are.

Prof. Tony Martin and others have exposed the "Jews" are agents of white America, supporting and fostering any movement that keeps blacks dependent. They also exposed the "Jews" behavior and attitude whenever a black movement fosters self-reliance and independence. Why do we refuse to look at the history of these "Jews" with both eyes wide open? Why would they try to destroy SNCC, the Black Panthers, etc. Because these groups wanted to control their own organizations and excluded whites, including the so-called "Jew", that's exactly why.

Yet, here we are, so-called, imminent historians and scholars, lavishing time, money and energy on the token efforts of "Jews" toward supporting the efforts of blacks in America.

"Jews" founded the NAACP and ran it for many years, guiding it into an institution that sought assimilation of blacks into American society, not real independence and self-determination. We must pay attention to what a people "do" versus what a people "say". One must ask: "Why are whites so terrified of blacks becoming free, independent and self-sufficient?"

On another note, yet related, let me say that black folk in America are still contending with an enormous identity crisis that has been solved by our very own black Bible researchers. Yet, this information is patently ignored and we, as a people, continue to wallow in self-destructive, self-delusional and self-effacing behaviors that are sickening.

Our "Christianity" was handed to our ancestors by our very own slavemaster, whose names we bear to this day. Is there something wrong with this picture? How could slavemasters, who buy and sell Africans as if they were animals, be "Christian"? And now, they want me to worship their God? Please.

Blacks in America are an exceptionally blessed people in all the earth. If they would on read Deuteronomy 28:15-68 and take note of the graphically detailed unique form of slavery that would be experienced by the "children of God, Israel". This prophecy, written almost 3,500 years ago tells you who you really are - Israel, in exile. It also reveals why we are catching HELL in America - our ancestors refused to obey God. This tells us how we can stop this madness - refuse to disobey God. Read his Word and Law for information, direction and guidance. Repent for your past ignorance and disobedience, for your ancestors past rebelliousness and disobedience. We all need to clean ourselves up now, for he is already judging America, as anyone can now see.

This country is going down the drain slowly, yet steadily. Then, God will deliver His people to freedom and take them back home where we belong. We certainly do not belong here in America, any more than these white Europeans ("Jew" or "WASP"). All of us are occupiers in a land not ours.

We need to stop trying to convert our enemies and start consolidating with our friends - one another. Because, in the end, there is no one else on earth we can stand shoulder to shoulder with in confidence. Every other ethnic group has demonstrated clearly that when it comes to decisions of self-interest, they will vote for their ethnic group vs. us every time. Got it? Shalom.
