In a moving narrative, Michael Coard, Esq. gave us the context and the historical background of both Watch Night and Freedom's Eve. Mr. J. Ragsdale from The Lest We Forget Museum was the guest speaker and he didn't disappoint, detailing the horrors of the Middle Passage/slavery and the need for cultural awareness.
