Why I’m voting for Hillary
I don’t have to wait for the debates. I already know enough. I know that President Donald Trump would be a menace to America. He is the champion of racists, jingoists and misogynists and other deplorables. He would sow division and tear apart the fabric of our society.
Lest ye forget:
- He Insulted Mexicans, describing them as rapists and killers
- He plans to build the massive ‘wall” along the Mexican border to keep Mexicans and other Latinos out
- Insulted Muslims – keep them out of the US, presumably including the Muslim mayor of London, England
- Insults women
- Insults immigrants
- Insults President Obama with his racist based ‘birther’ charge
- Insulting comments about Hillary
- Insult veteran parents
- Trump University fraud
- Trump Foundation fraud
- Ignorance of world affairs and political realities
- Hides taxes
I consider a vote for a third party candidate tantamount to a vote for Trump. We are told “Maryland is a blue state”. Oh yeah! Well this Democratic blue state voted in a Republican governor and my supposedly liberal Howard County voted in a Republican Chief Executive. A vote for Hillary is the strongest way to repudiate Trump. I will settle for nothing less.
Hillary Clinton is a warmonger, but, they are all warmongers, Including Nobel Peace Prize winner Barack Obama. Hillary has been smeared by Republican-big- lie-smear tactics . She has been a victim of a right wing conspiracy for many years. This focus actually helped Barack Obama get elected as the conspirators did not think Obama would ever get elected president. Do you remember the “slick Willie” Republican drumbeat against Bill Clinton? Do you remember how war hero presidential candidate John Kerry was ‘swiftboated’? Now it’s Hillary’s turn with some vague unsubstantiated ‘trust’ issue. I trust Hillary much more than Trump and other Republican big-wigs, who deliberately lie as a political strategy.
Now emails and even failure to report pneumonia within two days are blown out of proportion to mislead a gullible public. This is so unfair and I won’t fall for that. I fight against unfairness and this will be no exception. So, even though I don’t like warmongering Hillary, I intend to hold my nose and vote for her.
