I am puzzled why you find it necessary to take issue whith so many things that are shared here at iZania.com. It would be just as easy for you to spend your time somewhere else that is more suitable to your liking. At times I perceive that you are one of those "loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit."
We constantly promote Black initiatives at iZania. However, we are not oblivious to the fact that we don't live in this world alone. There is no value in spending time disavowing everything "white." Just as we proudly embrace our African heritage, we are equally forceful in overcoming initiatives that would disavow everything "Black."
Yes, we have engaged many Black enterprizes in our struggle. We have accepted your participation along with others. Have our Black brothers and sisters always responded to our appeals (i.e., the call for 10,000 business referrals)? No. How many businesses did you refer? That doesn't deter us. We are still making progress.

Izania.com is yet another example of black people promoting white enter-prizes. How many of those white social networks have ever promoted Izania or any other black social network with any positive article of recognition or praise?
How many articles has Izania written promoting our own black social networks in a bid for expansion, recognition, exposure or advancement?
Do these black social networks write articles or blogs on their own social forums such as: Izania, Black business Builders, Black Business Space, Connecting Black, Let's talk Honestly, Chicago Black Business The Black Pub or Mubarak Inter-prizes?
They don't promote each other black social sites because that would be to much like right. Instead they say thing like:
I use both Social Networking Services. Most of my personal friends are on Face book. I enjoy sharing good content on Twitter
I like Facebook because you can build groups and a presence. You can also instantly chat.
I use them both and find them both to be valuable.
First to address about promoting a Black webportal.... We’ve all been doing that for years and you see where it's got us
The bottom line is Blacks are a minority...Period! There are more whites online then Blacks and they are setting the trends. My position is this...wherever there is a crowd.... There’s Money!

We are fighting for our existence and the only ones to defend our right to exist are readers, writers and producers.
This is not about racism, hate or kill whitey. This is about any and all black social networks that continue to ignore their responsibility to provide a foundation of inclusion without attaching our wagon to the every other ethnic group because we are to lazy, unmotivated and trifling to do for ourselves.
You don't hear nor can you recall anytime in history where other races or nationalities has included you in their struggle for survival, parity, equality or justice.
When was the last time the Latinos addressed their issues to say the Latinos and the African Americans are jobless and hopeless? The Latinos are not waiting around for the African Americans to get it together. The Latinos are preparing to run their own for office of mayor of Chicago.
When was the last time you heard China say that China and the African Americans are being short sided and discriminated on?
When was the last time you heard from the Europeans, Japanese, Koreans, Romanians, Russians include African Americans... FORGET ABOUT IT!
Even our own African brothers and sisters in Africa don't want to be associated with us because black social networks like Izania talk unity, collectiveness and togetherness but promote everthing else and anyone else but us.

Black social networks are always including some other race or nationality because we are to viewed by other nations and social networks as to weak and petty to stand alone.
Black social networks spend all our time trying to promote, integrate, suck up to being accepted or adopted by the Europeans, Latinos, Chinese, Japanese and whatever ethic social network we can leech upon or will have us.
We decide like leeches to attach our troubles to theirs hoping that if they won't do for us then they will do for them and then we can suck the benefits given them to help us.

You need a better web site and book cover. they looks dated, homemade and gives the impression that you are not successfully employing young talented, savvy Americans of African descent to help market your products and services. If there's one thing our young people need, it's Black male leaders that are willing to encourage them to apply their talent and skills, by employing them.

As a creative director the implication is clear that you deal in surface appearances however in the realm of substance and depth never judge a book by its cover or determine the effectiveness of a web site without understanding the intent or the intended target base.

During the 70's to 1995 African Americans ruled supreme before we lost 100% control over the black domestic hair care industry. During the 70's to 1995 we stood on solid ground with the rest of the world.
African Americans must return to that frame of time,mind and era because that is where the solid foundation was prevalent, lost and abandoned.
Any attempt to continue to build on shaky and unstable principles requires that African Americans continue to hang on to other races, nationalities and ethnic groups for support and stable footing.

Having never heard of most of the sites you've listed, mostly because I don't take a nationalist stance, but a globalist one, so I seek interaction with people and businesses that share a common set of interests, and with the majority of those people I communicate with outside of my local area in other counties, communicating in different languages and falling into the categories of being "other" than black or white and find their way on to the "Major" social networks by great marketing, through schools and by sharing their interests. It would take a great deal more effort to single out Black groups and individuals with similar concerns than to enter an open forum and hope to find someone.
Not to seem oblique, but what do we produce and sell to whites and other ethnic groups? Seeing that most of us earn our income and derive most of our technologies from working for the same people we seem to be seeking independence from. And rarely if ever are those issues brought to the table. We are using the most advanced and so far affordable communication and education tool since the talking drum to complain about 400 year old issues, that are not going away, because we have nothing new to bring to the social economic table.
It is not my goal or intent to allow or encourage my grandchild's generation to inherit the same issues and complaints that have weighed down the generations before her. Therefore, I must strive to be a part of a global solution, that means contributing to the development of new methods of producing healthy, natural food to feed the 8.5 billion people expected to populate the planet in the next generation. Getting on to some cleaner, more affordable ways of generating energy. Ways that won't incite more war or institutional slavery (under the guise of correctional facilities) Systems that increase local productivity of the core things our people and others need to enjoy a better life style, Systems for properly educating our children so that they are not subject to the drug induced mind and spirit numbing construct of Title One entitlements. Designing a set of expressions that state what a future African Diaspora will employ. To do these things I need access to information, technology, tools and people that are presently active in using them for the benefit of all living beings
The fact that these social networks don't communicate or collaborate to become a greater force points out the need for people to seek networks that are somewhat more diverse, forward thinking, technologically up-to-date and probably some what younger in their focus, then connect them to the thousands of focus groups dedicated to whatever causes their may be.
My business motto is simple: By Us For Everyone.
Because I'd rather get White, Asian & Latin, dollars to share with my Black people, that we might actually build something to enjoy and be proud of.
Don't be angry with a people that are trying to spread the same message to the same people and fighting for a bigger cut of an ever shrinking pie.
Offer them solutions.
We all know what's wrong and there's only so much of it we are willing to hear without solutions.
