Bhaktapur Darbar Square

Bhaktapur is also known as Bhadgaon or Khwopa, is an ancient Newar town. The meaning the Bhadgaon is “city of devotees". It is located in Bhaktapur District of the Bagmati Zone. Bhaktapur Darbar Square is one of the popular darbar square among three Durbar of kathmandu valley which is well  known as Bhaktapur or the "square of pottery" and is the oldest city in the valley. Bhaktapu Darbar Square is listed in World Heritage Cultural site of UNESCO Sites. The famous of a fifty-five window palace is a conglomeration of pagoda and shikhara-style temples grouped and made of brick and wood. You see museum gallery where many stone idle,golden gate, shiva temple, Dattraya temple, Nawadurga temple and much more.
