Best Since FDR

Fellow Americans, don’t forget, every Republican voted against your stimulus check

I was lukewarm to Biden when I voted for him. However, he has exceeded my expectations to an incredibly high degree. In fact, I consider his infrastructure bill the greatest piece of legislation since Social Security and Medicare. Democrats should be proud and exuberant in their support. At last, no more band-aids, but, a comprehensive bill for the people, not the corporations nor the military-industrial complex. Every item in this bill is vitally needed.  It will cost but it is well worth every penny. The American people should be proud of Biden.

But, fellow Americans, don’t forget, every Republican voted against your stimulus check. Therefore, instead of bipartisan support from Republicans, we can expect sabotage. Republicans cannot afford to let Biden succeed with this impressive comprehensive infrastructure plan. It would be too great a victory for Biden. So, even though it would be an even greater victory for the American people, the Republican Party is going to do what it does best, “obstruct”.  What a disgrace! So, just as Republicans opposed Medicare and Social Security in the past, they will oppose this bill also. Their lie machine is oiled and ready to go. They will use lies, distortion and every dirty trick in the book to dismember it. Because of this, I am not optimistic that it will get the ten Republican votes needed in the Senate to pass. After all, fellow Americans, don’t forget, every Republican voted against your stimulus check. I hope I am wrong in my assessment. Let us hope that there are enough Republicans who will put the good of their country over partisan party politics.
