ARE AFRICAN AMERICANS WORTH MORE THAN PET DOGS IN THE USA??

Americans are mad as hell over Michael Vick's dog fighting exploits. They are madder than ants over the so-called ducking of the heads of foreign prisoners in Cuba, under water! Yet how do they feel about some of their own citizens? ""We still don't like black people," said John Clouse , 57 and a Democrat, reflecting the sentiments of his pals gathered at a coffee shop in Somerset, Ohio. recently at a research survey conducted with Stanford University. According to an AP-Yahoo News poll last year, one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks—many calling them "lazy," "violent" or responsible for their own troubles.WHY NO MEDIA FUROR OVER THE TORTURE OF INMATES BY POLICE DEPARTMENTS IN THE US?"WE DO NOT TORTURE" President Barak Obama said recently. Really now and since when? Where did thepresident live?? Oh Chicago..The Persistence of Andrew Wilson November 29, 2007A cop killer who fought to expose torture in the Chicago Police Department has died, but his testimony from beyond the grave could still help bring down its perpetrators. http://www.chicagoreader.com/features/stories/andrewwilson/Report on Chicago Police Torture Is Released - New York Times .. that scores of criminal suspects were tortured by police officers in the 1970's and , nytimes.com/2006/07/19/us/ 19cnd- chicago.html?ex=1310961600&...&emc=rssPerhaps the President meant we do not torture any more because African Americans were tortured for well over one hundred years in the USA primarily by Democratic slave holders, Ku Klux Klansmen, members of the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party, police departments in southern Democratic strongholds, the medical system which experimented on African American men and a media environment which assisted in devastating their self-esteem. Here Dr. Alveda King describes some "nice" treatment meted out to African Americans by their Democratic "lovers."No one batted an eye when President Kennedy opposed the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. King. Hardly a ripple of protest was uttered when President Kennedy, through hisbrother Attorney General Robert Kennedy, had Dr. King wiretapped and investigated on suspicion of being a Communist. Little attention was paid to the fact that it was a Democrat, Public Safety Commissioner Eugene “Bull”Conner, who in 1963 turned dogs and fire hoses on Dr. King and other civil rights protestors. No one noted that it was a Democrat, Georgia Governor Lester Maddox, who waved ax handles to stop blacks from patronizing his restaurant".Dr. Alveda C. King – Niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.By the way Eric Holder, you are investigaging the CIA over dipping the heads of terrorists under water, have you considered investigating those southern politicians who tortured African Americans?? Oh....I forgot you only go after Republicans and besides African Americans are still considered as beneath the status awarded to dog pets! And more by Frances Rice:The relentless disparagement of Dr. King by Democrats led to his being physically assaulted and ultimately to his tragic death. In March of 1968, while referring to Dr. King's leaving Memphis, Tennessee after riots broke out where a teenager was killed, Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, a former member of the Ku Klux Klan, called Dr. King a "trouble-maker" who starts trouble, but runs like a coward after trouble is ignited. A few weeks later, Dr. King returned to Memphis and was assassinated on April 4, 1968.Prior to his death, Democrats bombed Dr. King’s home several times. The scurrilous efforts by the Democrats to harm Dr. King included spreading rumors that he was a Communist and accusing him of being a womanizer and a plagiarist. An egregious act against Dr. King occurred on October 10, 1963. With the approval of Democrat President John F. Kennedy, Democrat Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy – President Kennedy’s brother – authorized the wiretapping of Dr. King’s telephone by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Wiretaps were placed by the FBI on the telephones in Dr. King’s home and office. The FBI also bugged Dr. King’s hotel rooms when he traveled around the country." Frances RiceIn addition, here is sample of what happenned in America which the kingly treatment of Guantanamo pales in comparison to:What Happened at AtticaThe uprising at Attica Correctional Facility in New York's rural Wyoming county began Thursday morning, September 9, 1971. It ended four days later in a barrage of gunfire that left 29 convicts and 10 hostages dead and 89 wounded. Later that morning and over the next few days convicts were beaten and terrorized by State Police and prison guards and officials. In 1971, Attica inmates were allotted one roll of toilet paper per man per month. They were allowed one shower per week. Black Muslims were not permitted to hold religious services, and any assembly in the prison yard of more than three Muslims was punishable by solitary confinement. Pork was in the main dish in most noon and evening meals. The prison library took no newspapers but some prisoners subscribed to periodicals with their own funds; officials routinely scissored out anything having to do with prisons or prisoners' rights. http://www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~bjackson/attica.htmSee more pictures of New York State Attica prison post-riots here: http://www.talkinghistory.org/attica/index1.htmlhttp://www.talkinghistory.org/attica/photos.htmlIn my paralegal class years ago, lawyer Tom Stevens taught us that the New York Police Department used a technique of torturing inmates that left no physical signs on their bodies. He thought it was very funny laughing heartily as he described the techniques. I wrote earlier about the suspect beaten like a despicable dog into a bloody pulp and thrown mercilessly into a NYPD van on 28 Street in Manhattan in front of dozens of onlookers right next to one of the busiest McDonalds restaurant in Manhattan a few years ago. We often hear prisoners testify that the NYPD beat them and bruises in those cases are clearly evident on their bodies. One former taxi driver in South Jamaica, New York testified of how the NYPD, to extract information from prisoners, threaten to put them in cells with other prisoners who are sexual deviants. This is the treatment meated out in most instances, to African Americans who make up a disproportionate percentage of the prison population in the USA but where are the Democrats who are so upset over torture at Guantanamo, and is "we do not torture" applicable only to citizens of other countries? I have seen NYPD officers slapping suspects and slamming them against walls in full view of the public. If they do this when we are watching imagine what they do in the privacy of the station? I cannot remember any Democrat, president or ordinary voter being so concerned about the welfare of African American prisoners. I wonder why? We hear them rant and rave over the treatment of terrorist suspects but never mention anything about their own party members??
