Existing economic policies protect the profits of bailed-out banks, big corporations and ultra-wealthy individuals above all else. The resulting system is uninterested in and unable to meet basic human needs. Consequently, there is -- simultaneously -- millions of homeless people and millions more people-less homes, all while the sick cycle of displacement continues on, today, forcibly dislodging homeowners and renters alike from their homes & communities. Wall Street is exploiting us and “our” government is enforcing it. So where do we turn? We turn to us.
Call to Action
In this context, we call for a 2012 Spring Offensive, to take back our land and deliver our economy from the greed of the 1%. Across the country, our communities will come together to engage in locally-driven Positive Action campaigns designed to transform property relationships: to free it from the Bank and Real Estate Giants that use them for speculation and profit, to bring democracy home, and to stimulate neighborhood-based dialogues around community-based alternatives that ensure the equitable & sustainable use of available resources and the dignity & stability of people before profits.
Our Positive Action campaigns will be protracted efforts intent on securing community control over land.
● We will Liberate homes to house human beings and land to benefit the common good.
● We will defend our families against eviction.
● We will Occupy bank lobbies, shareholder meetings, economic summits, government agencies and public squares in protest of ongoing inequities.
● We will hold Neighborhood Assemblies in the form of BBQs, outdoor movies and “Occupy”-style gatherings to build community power in these democratized spaces created for learning together & planning for a better future.
● We will assert Housing as a Human Right.
Positive Action campaigns that move families into vacant foreclosed homes and defend families from eviction, directly confront immoral laws with moral action. Similar to the Civil Rights campaigns where Blacks defied Jim Crow laws with “sit-ins,” these Positive Action campaigns are Human Rights-based “live-ins.”
Global Movement
We are an integral part of a growing global movement stretching from Africa to Europe, from Asia to the Americas. Sponsored by the same indelible human spirit which brought the Arab Spring, the 2012 Spring Offensive will fundamentally transform the possible. This is a moment that cannot be branded, managed or controlled by a single organization. It is our moment. Let us join together in this spirit to Occupy, organize and take action.
Answer the Call
The Spring Offensive will take concerted organizing, above all else. From the Occupy Movement and community based organizations, from faith groups and labor unions, we hope this call will be moved as a proposal to be taken up and owned as our own everywhere we live, work, play, pray and organize.

The writer of the abobeemail has reached the level of thinking which brought about the birth of COMMUNISM and SOCIALISM. These systems sound very nice and proper thing to learn and read. Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, Joseph Nyerere of Tanzania and others reached the same conclusion, but they are mistank when compared with what the CAPITALISM has done compared to what socialism has to offer and offered to the disgrace of humanity. LOOK at CUBA!! Compare CAPITALIST China to COMMUNIST AND SOCIALIST China. But you have a very serious point. The COMMUNIST CHINA would have killed all those who stole the money. All the money that has been stolen have gone to the CAPITALISTS. The capitalists in the West have no rules. They have no sympathy when it comoes to employment. Think of this. Six (6) percent of the unemployed population is considered good. 4% -3% is excellent economy. Think of it again. These figures are real. They represent unemployed human beings in our country, but hey are good for the economics. Why. It will take me time to justify it but it is obnotious and wicked to say 3% of any population is good economy. But that is what our country USA, the leadr of the FREE WORLD considers the best for the country. Why. You are advocating a revolution which has been done in the societ union and to its disgrace it never benefitted the people. Millions of people have been sacrificed in this world to bring about socialism and communism. In the long run it is the people who suffer. So why do you contend the West does not know what the East has experimented. Capitalist China can tell you and the Cubans and the former soviet union states will agree, that as imperfect as CAPITALISM is, you must be very careful in advocating for socilism for even under Kwme Nkrumah of Ghana, it was a HELL.
Brothers, this is a great idea. In fact, I am helping our people here in Indy save their homes and free themselves from 'voluntary' slavery at the same time. If you go to YouTube and search for "Accept the Deed" you will discover an extremely powerful tool for stopping foreclosures and educating our people about real freedom.
We have become slaves of the system voluntarily, beginning with the Birth Certificate. Later, we get a Social Security number, a driver license, a marriage license, etc. and then wonder why these people have so much power over us. We give them the power.
Fortunately, we can take back our power and become free first by educating ourselves about how we came to be in this situation. Then we can begin the journey to freedom and peace. It is really very simple, but at the same time, very difficult due to the mind control we have been subjected to over the past 400 years.
We are the children of God and I believe His Kingdom will come when we wake up and take the necessary steps to freedom. Peace and blessings to one and all.
