Soul School Institute invites the community to join the Nat Turner Tour on
Saturday August 18, 2012. The Tour travels to Southampton Virginia to
remember the Nat Turner Rebellion of 1831. This was the most successful
slave rebellion in U.S. history. The Tour traces the route that Nat Turner and his
band of warriors traveled in their bid for freedom and to end slavery.
The Nat Turner Tour includes roundtrip transportation, homestyle meal, official
Nat Turner Tour teeshirt, educational packet, onboard movies, a raffle drawing
in support of Black Panther political prisoner, Marshall Eddie Conway and a tour
of all the sites important to the legacy of Nat Turner.
