Kwame Nkrumah one of the greatest minds of the 20th century and one of the Founding Intellectuals of Pan Africanist Thought. Was also the First Prime Minister and then later President of Ghana. Nkrumah was the torch bearer for the fire that was Pan Africansim and it was he who stated that the independence of Ghana would mean nothing if the whole of Africa's did not follow. He tirelessly fought for the creation of an African state and his book "Africa Must Unite" carried this message across the world and indeed through time.
