Harlem’s Sweet Spot Festival is celebrating its fifth-year anniversary this month with an all-day kick-off event on May 21st. Free and family-friendly, the event is a community affair intended to bring Harlem’s diverse people and cultures together to celebrate its rich historical legacy. It’s sure to be a great day of music, dance, food, yoga, kids art workshops, outdoor picnicking and more.
We’re excited to bring Okayafrica Electrafrique to Sweet Spot this month. The all-day event will feature sets by DJ Underdog and Native Sun, as well as Philly’s finest, Rich Medina.
The Sweet Spot Festival goes down May 21, 2-9pm at the West Harlem Pier (125th Street & West Side). Find out more details by heading to the festival’s official website: http://www.okayafrica.com/events/harlem-sweet-spot-festival-electrafrique/?mc_cid=912694c5c8&mc_eid=14dfa244ba
