African Diaspora Unification East Bay presents the first Annual Bazaar & Crafts Fair to celebrate the people, art, knowledge and cultural vibrancy that has resulted from the dispersal of Africans throughout the world.

The goal is to open dialogue between the many African and African American peoples that call the Bay Area home and cultivate a stronger sense of connection and community based on the rich legacy of art and culture.

The public is invited to take advantage of this extraordinary day. Come enjoy local vendors and artisans, speakers, performances, food and more. The Fair features affordable art and crafts, presented in a warm-spirited atmosphere reflecting the Bay Area's great diversity.

Participants will be treated to performances, workshops and demonstrations including authentic dance from the African Queens Youth Dance Company, traditional African Brazilian Martial Arts and artisanal body care demonstrations from Earth Mercy. Participants will also be able to shop from a wide range of vendors specializing in unique one-of-a-kind gifts, including locally recognized artist Latisha Baker and Elizabeth in Pearls.

Special thank you to Cooperative Center Federal Credit Union, one of the sponsors of the 2013 African Diaspora Holiday Bazaar and Crafts Fair.
