One the numerous walls decorated in the temples at Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The ancient black Egyptian influence is evident from the temple carvings to the people, many of whom are as dark as African Americans. I was greeted with special interest and care because of my dark complexion. I read that many years ago the King of Khmer requested military assistance from his friend who was a monarch in black Africa. The African king sent 100,000 troops to assist his friend in what is now Cambodia. The result of their presence is everywhere in this Asian country.
